Andrew Mulcunry gets into fist fight on Broadway, tells officers “I’m just drunk”

27-year-old Andrew Joseph Mulcunry was involved in a fight with Kalen Ferninando Hatchett and others at 401 Broadway late April 6th. Officers observed this and ordered them to stop, which they ignored. When officers tried to handcuff Mulcunry, he kept trying to fight the others. Officers told him to stop resisting, but he was uncooperative. After he was detained, officers noticed he reeked of alcohol, and then he stated, “I am just drunk,” repeatedly. Mulcunry was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

Jacob Allen kicked out of taxi for being too drunk to remember where he’s staying

32-year-old Jacob Chaple Allen entered a taxi and did not know where he was staying in the early hours of April 6th. The cab driver flagged officers down, stating Allen was too intoxicated. When officers approached him, they noticed he reeked of alcohol and had trouble standing up. Officers asked Allen if he was on Broadway with anyone so he could call them to get him, but he did not have his phone. When officers asked him where he was staying, Allen said, “I’d be lying if I said I did.” Allen was deemed unable to care for himself and was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Joshua Peyton tries to leave Redneck Riviera after not paying $17 tab, tells police “Y’all should just arrest me then.”

42-year-old local musician Joshua Peyton tried to exit Redneck Riviera without paying for their services around 2:00 a.m. on April 5th. When officers arrived, they located him and spoke with Calla Carpenter, a bartender for the establishment that witnessed this, about a resolution for him to pay his tab. Before their arrival, Peyton ran up a $17.18 tab, so officers tried to get him to pay it, during which they noticed he showed numerous signs of intoxication. Officers gave him multiple chances to call a friend or his wife to pick him up, but Peyton never called anyone. Peyton told officers, “No one needs to pick me up because I am going to get in my truck and drive home.” When officers told Peyton that he would not be getting in his vehicle and needed someone to pick him up, he stated, “Y’all should just arrest me then.” Peyton was then deemed a danger to himself and taken into custody for theft of services and public intoxication.

Ryland Ford gets into scuffle with woman after snorting cocaine at Luke’s 32 Bridge

21-year-old Ryland Cailis Ford and Olivia Leigh Harris were grabbing and pulling on each other in front of Luke’s 32 Bridge late April 6th. Upon arrival, officers were pointed to the incident and advised that they showed signs of impairment during their scuffle. Officers noticed Ford reeked of alcohol and appeared not to understand them when they questioned him about arranging a ride home. Additionally, he had a bloody nose and a hand twitch consistent with cocaine usage. Ford then became uncooperative and tried to walk away, so officers stopped and detained him. During an arrest search, they located a small bag of cocaine in his wallet. Ford was taken into custody for simple possession and public intoxication.

Sarah West has drunken fight at Johnny Cash Museum

32-year-old Sarah West was taken into custody for public intoxication on April 1st. Officers were dispatched to Johnny Cash Museum to a fight-in-progress complaint. When officers arrived, they located West and noticed she reeked of alcohol. She showed numerous signs of intoxication, including being unable to stand on her own, so she was deemed unable to care for herself and was taken into custody.

Barry McClelland Jr. too drunk to care for himself after night on town with deceased cousin’s wife

37-year-old Barry McClelland Jr. was taken into custody for public intoxication on April 1st. Officers were dispatched to Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk for reports of a fight. When officers arrived, they located the two parties in front of the Johnny Cash Museum. One of those involved being McClelland Jr., who was detained for claiming to have a knife. Officers investigated and were advised that there was no scuffle. During their investigation, McClelland Jr. showed multiple signs of impairment. When officers asked him where he was staying, he said, “117 North,” which they told him did not exist, and then McClelland Jr. said, “118 North.” McClelland Jr. stated he left his phone at the hotel because he was going through a divorce and was out on the town with his deceased cousin’s wife. McClelland Jr. was deemed unable to care for himself and was detained.

Christopher Silva found slumped in front of Carillon Apartments

49-year-old Christopher Silva was being disorderly at Carillon Apartments on 4th Avenue North on the afternoon of April 2nd. Upon arrival, officers observed him extremely intoxicated and slumped over in front of the establishment. He could not walk in a straight line or stand up independently, so he was deemed him a danger to himself and others. Silva was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Keri Curkendall drunkenly wanders into Nashville Predators game without ticket

43-year-old Keri Lynn Curkendall was taken into custody for public intoxication on April 2nd. Officers observed her at the Bridgestone Arena without a ticket for the Predators game. They noted that Curkendall appeared to not know where she was. Officers approached her and noticed she showed numerous signs of impairment, reeking of alcohol. Curkendall was deemed unable to care for herself and was detained for the incident.

Matthew Allen kicked out of Bode Nashville for being too drunk

47-year-old Matthew Lincoln Allen was taken into custody for public intoxication on April 2nd. Security at Bode Nashville alerted the authorities, advising that Allen had come into the establishment already intoxicated and continued drinking when he got there. When the bartender told him to leave, he got aggressive with the staff. Officers asked him for his basic information, but he was too impaired to answer. Allen could not stand up independently and was deemed a danger to himself and others.

Local DJ Deer Emerson drunkenly assaults multiple people with rocks at Night We Met nightclub

33-year-old local DJ Deer Emerson was involved in a domestic altercation with her girlfriend, Beronica Crosby, at the Night We Met nightclub on 12th Avenue North on March 31st. When officers arrived at the location, they came into contact with Emerson, who was blatantly intoxicated and holding a rock in each hand. Witnesses at the scene state that Emerson was aggressive and tried to hit people with rocks. Emerson attempted to run away from officers but fell after a short distance. One of the witnesses, Walter Blackman, informed officers that he saw Emerson punch Crosby in the head while they were in front of the bar.

A security guard, Victor Hatcher, told officers he received a call regarding the altercation. Hatcher stated that he observed Emerson attempting to hit Crosby after getting aggressive with her in the parking lot. Before Emerson could land the hit, Hatcher held her down. Emerson retaliated by kicking Hatcher multiple times and attempting to strike him with a rock. During the scuffle, Emerson bit Hatcher on the arm. Officers contacted Crosby, who did not want to answer any questions. Crosby also appeared intoxicated and ended up leaving the scene before the investigation was over. Crosby didn’t have any visible injuries, but she seemed to have been in a physical altercation. Emerson was taken into custody, where she was actively resistant and refused to get into the police car. During a search of her person, a small baggie of suspected powder cocaine was found in her pocket. Deer Emerson was then transported and charged with assault of an officer, domestic assault, possession or causal exchange, public intoxication, resisting arrest, and two counts of aggravated assault.
