You’re too drunk to leave Nashville — Michelle Balke & James Balke arrested at airport

55-year-old Michelle Kay Balke & 60-year-old James Balke were attempting to fly out of Nashville late Monday; however, gate agents at the Nashville International airport denied boarding to both parties due to their extreme level of intoxication. The couple became verbally aggressive, with each one blaming the other for their predicament. Their argument causes a disturbance to airport operations and the gathering of people now watching. Airport police arrived, and they were asked to leave the property. As they were walking out, they again began yelling at each other, and after multiple attempts to calm the situation, both parties were taken into custody for public intoxication.

Tyneshia Shant’e Woodland goes on rampage when boyfriend discovers she’s cheating

Police say 22-year-old Tyneshia Shante Woodland damaged the car of her boyfriend, Nadarius Henderson, on November 11th. Some of the damage includes scratches, a busted tail light, a busted headlight, and attempts to puncture the tires. During the automobile assault, Henderson attempted to block things that she threw at him, including a knife, leaving him with a bloody hand and injuries. The argument began when Henderson was told by multiple people that Woodland was cheating on their relationship, so he came to their shared apartment to gather his belongings. Upset that he was leaving, Woodland reportedly went on a rampage. She is charged with vandalism and felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Jeffrey Gingrich charged in assault of ex-boyfriend as he gets on top and punches him

54-year-old Jeffrey Gingrich is charged with punching his former lover, Charlton Hollars, in the face and their shared residence Wednesday evening. Mr. Hollars says he was sitting on the couch when Gingrich approached him aggressively with his chest puffed out and punched him out, causing him to fall to the ground. He says Gingrich then got on top of him and continued to face-punch him multiple times. Officers observed multiple bruises and marks on the victim consistent with the assault.

Jasmine Clark, 28, charged in felony statutory rape of her alleged teenage lover

29-year-old Jasmine Clark is charged with the felony aggravated statutory rape of her alleged lover, a 17-year-old male victim. The age difference between the two is eleven years and 17 days. The victim says he met Jasmine in November 2021 and dated until February 2022, and had sexual relations approximately every other day. Witnesses confirmed the victim would sleep in the bedroom with Jasmine in the apartment they shared; however, Jasmine claims she made him sleep on the floor. Officers were made aware of the relationship when Jasmine completed a report with MNPD stating the two were in a relationship after she was transported to Skyline Hospital. She also claimed to believe he was 21 or 19 years old.

Taylor Warren assaults husband with birthday cake, a pistol, and her fists, per report

Police say 20-year-old Taylor Dawn Warren threw a birthday cake at her husband, Robert Wayne Warren, in a church parking lot, then punched him in the face and pulled a maroon handgun, and pistol-whipped him. She had met her husband, who was with his friend Samuel Mei, at the Church as she was upset that he went hunting early in the morning, and she had baked a cake for his birthday. When she assaulted him with the gun, he disarmed her, and Sammy held onto the gun and turned it over to officers who met Robert and Sam nearby after they fled the scene. Taylor met with officers and stated she was angry with her husband and admitted to the assault with the cake, but claimed the maroon gun was not hers.

Misty Fain assaults husband as he “falls out” of car in downtown Nashville

Metro Nashville Police Officers working the downtown district observed David Moore suddenly fall out of the passenger seat of a vehicle driven by his wife, 45-year-old Misty Fain, at the intersection of Korean Veterans Blvd & Hermitage Ave. As he fell out of the vehicle, she put the vehicle in park, then drove forward a few feet, then repeated this a few times until officers activated their emergency equipment, at which time she fled the scene at a high rate of speed, leaving her husband on the ground in the middle of an intersection. The victim explained he was originally driving when they began to argue over the directions to Boot Barn. As the argument escalated, he stopped the car and scooted to the passenger seat as his wife walked around and got in the driver’s seat. At some point, she was yelling and screaming and began to hit and assault him, breaking his glasses. He called 911 and she demanded he exit the car, and he ended up on the ground. Officers documented multiple cuts, scrapes, and scratches to the victim’s face, and broken glasses.

Joshua Murner breaks into ex-girlfriend’s home, assaults two people, throws food from fridge

Police say 27-year-old Joshua Murner went to the River Road home of Stevie Voss, who is his ex-girlfriend, just before 5 a.m. on a Sunday in late September, just two days after she ended the relationship. A camera captured him entering at 4:45 a.m., at which time he was yelling and screaming while heavily intoxicated. Voss says he grabbed her by the neck with both hands in an attempt to strangle her, then grabbed her wrists and bicep, leaving more bruises. Elizabeth O’Brien witnessed the assault and attempted to stop him, causing Murder to grab her by both wrists, also injuring her. In the ten minutes before Murder fled the scene, and before police arrived, Murder also punched holes in four doors and took all of the food from the refrigerator, and threw it across the home, along with shattering glass across the floor. A warrant was issued for his arrest, and he was booked into jail Monday morning.

Ning Wang continues to show up at ex-wife’s home, refuses to leave

54-year-old Ning Wang is charged with aggravated criminal trespass after police say he showed up at the back door of his ex-wife’s residence on Tyne Blvd and refused to leave on November 2nd. He continued to knock on the back door, demanding to be let in, despite having not lived there in quite some time. Officers responded to similar incidents several times this year, the most recent in October, and Wang understood he was not allowed to be on the property but continued to return.
