21-year-old Wakenya Rayonna was jailed on March 27th after attacking her boyfriend when he took their child after she threatened to leave the child alone at their home. Xavier Barnett told police that while he was at the gym, he received a text message from Rayonna saying that she was going to leave the baby alone if he didn’t come and get him. Barnett left the gym and as he was driving home, he saw Rayonna walking with their son, so he stopped to talk. They started to argue so he placed his son into the car seat, so he wasn’t in the middle of the situation. Barnett asked Rayonna for the keys to the house, but she refused and demanded her son back. When Barnett refused, she started hitting him. Bystanders were able to separate them before the police arrived. When police asked Rayonna what happened she told them that she assaulted Barnett because he wouldn’t give her the child back.

Rube Lopez charged with $5,789 theft from JCPenney store with help of her mother
Police say 18-year-old JC Penney employee Rube Lopez was caught on camera stealing $5,789 in merchandise during the last month at the Rivergate Mall location. Lopez would scan items at her register and then void them, still placing them in the shopping bag. Her mother, who had selected the items, would then exit the store with the bags of unpaid merchandise. Lopez wrote a statement to the store’s loss prevention manager, Steve Gray, admitting to the thefts and stating she was willing to pay for the items taken.
Ceyonce Fleming jailed on charges of aggravated abuse and neglect of infant
22-year-old Ceyonce was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail this week after being indicted by the Grand Jury on charges of aggravated child abuse and aggravated child neglect. The indictment alleges that in September 2022, Fleming neglected and caused serious bodily injury to an infant who was one month old. She is jailed in lieu of a $75,000 bond.
Dashe Sanders charged with dealing Fentanyl and crack cocaine in Food Lion parking lot
Hermitage detectives were conducting surveillance in a Food Lion parking lot on Bell Road on March 28 when they observed 26-year-old Dashe Sanders conduct an apparent drug transaction with another female. A traffic stop was conducted a short distance away and Sanders claimed the other woman owed her $50 and she just was only throwing a wadded-up paper at her from inside her vehicle. Inside that wadded-up paper was 2.5 grams of suspected Fentanyl. The driver of the other vehicle admitted to buying it from Sanders. A search of her vehicle yielded 5.64 grams of Fentanyl and .5 grams of crack cocaine.
DUI: Todd Siebert charged after driving into tree & building in downtown Nashville
Metro Nashville Police say 31-year-old Todd Siebert drove his Ford F-150 into a tree and then into the side of a building near Prentice Avenue in downtown Nashville in the early hours of Wednesday morning. He spoke with slurred speech and was visibly intoxicated. He stated he had two cocktails at Mother’s Ruin in Germantown before driving. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and later blew a 0.12% BAC on a breathalyzer.

While responding to a downed power-line call on March 25, Nashville Fire observed a homemade/illegal wire connecting a Fernwood Drive home to the power pole and electric grid. NES arrived and confirmed it was an illegal line and was bypassing the meter on the home, which was previously disconnected. 48-year-old Christie Murphy, Leon Welch, & 39-year-old Jessica Whitaker were all living in the home and were taken into custody and charged with theft of services.
Alex Wade-Lyle charged with reckless driving after nearly hitting police car on I-40
26-year-old Alex Wade-Lyle was reportedly driving his 2014 Dodge Charger on I-40 with a ‘pack’ of other vehicles who were all weaving through traffic together in March. Alex’s vehicle nearly struck a patrol car, causing him to drive off the side of the roadway. Wade-Lyle was issued a citation for reckless driving and was booked on that citation this week.
Lindsey Petrosky charged after conducting drug deal in Motel 6 parking lot, per police
Police say 42-year-old Lindsey Petrosky was observed conducting a hand-to-hand drug transaction in the parking lot of Motel 6 on Stewarts Ferry Pike in February. A search of her person revealed a small amount of marijuana, which led to a search of her vehicle and purse, which contained five Xanax pills. She was cited for the drugs and booked on that citation this week.
Karess Thomas stole a brake job from Budget Brakes
27-year-old Karess Thomas was jailed on March 25th on an outstanding warrant for pretending she paid for her brake repair at Budget Brakes but actually left without paying for the service. Eddie Bounsana was the employee at Budget Brakes on Nolensville Pike that took care of Thomas. While the manager was pulling her car out of the garage, Eddie attempted to collect payment for her brake repair, totaling $528.67. Thomas told him that she had already paid the manager. Subsequently, the manager returned her car keys before Eddie could confirm the payment, and Thomas fled the scene in her car. Eddie provided the police with Thomas’ contact information, and the police confirmed it with her apartment rental office, and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
James Battle breaks sister’s glasses after slapping them off her face, per report
19-year-old James Battle was jailed on March 27th for allegedly smacking his little sister in the face after she asked him to pick his clothes up. Police responded to Chesapeake circle where they spoke to Battle’s sister who is a minor. The victim said that she had asked Battle to pick up his clothes and he got upset saying that they weren’t his. Battle then stepped into her personal space and started cussing her out, so she pushed him back to create space. Battle slapped his little sister so hard in the face he broke her glasses. When police questioned battle, he told them that those clothes were not his and that his sister didn’t put his laundry in a bag as he asked. He also stated that he was close to his sister but he didn’t touch her he only pushed her away as he leaned over her.
