24-year-old Kyle Colella is charged with indecent exposure and public intoxication after Metro Nashville Police say he climbed atop the extravagant fountain outside the Nashville Symphony in downtown Nashville, exposed himself, and began urinating into the fountain. An off-duty officer working security detained and he was transported to booking, deemed too intoxicated to care for himself. He is free on pre-trial release.

| On 11/20/2021, at approximately 1956 hours, officers were dispatched to 1 symphony place to assist an officer working an extra job at the Nashville Symphony. The officer had one in custody for indecent exposure and public intoxication.
Officers were notified by security that the defendant was outside the location and standing on the fountain urinating in it. Officers went outside and saw the defendant clearly standing on top of the fountain and was urinating, exposing his genitals. The defendant had the strong smell of an alcoholic beverage coming from his expelled breath and was slurring his speech and was clearly intoxicated. Due to the defendant’s intoxicated state, he was deemed too intoxicated to care for his own well-being and considered a potential danger to himself and others, therefore he was not issued a misdemeanor citation. |
