20-year-old Antonio Cruz was found standing underneath the outside sprinklers at the Home Depot on Bell road, extremely intoxicated and enjoying the drops of water raining down on him. A store manager attempted to ask him to leave the property, but when he continued to remain under the sprinklers, police were alerted. When he was unable to tell him who he was or where he stayed, they took him into custody for public intoxication.

Gregory Flagg punches Dollar General manager in face when told to leave store with his open beer
27-year-old Gregory Flagg walked into the Doller General store on 3rd Ave South with an open beer Sunday. The manager, John Stephens, asked him to leave the location, at which time Flagg immediately turned around and punched Stephens square in the face causing a visible injury.
Kelexis Batson spits on boyfriend, slaps him, vandalizes his tires — upset over messages to another woman
19-year-old Kelexis Batson is charged with domestic assault with bodily injury. She admitted to slapping her boyfriend, Robert McWilliams, after seeing messages between him and another woman. In addition to the slaps, she spat on him and vandalized the tires on his vehicle.
Gregory Coker booked for 1996 burglary of Beefys in Nashville
58-year-old Gregory Coker came into contact with police in Coffee County this week, who realized he had an outstanding warrant in Nashville — from 1996. He was transferred to the Davidson County Jail to answer for the 26-year-old warrant, which charges him with the felony burglary of a business called “Beefys”. The warrant alleges he was an employee at the location and came one on one of his days off and took money from the safe.
Tourist charged after repeatedly punching wife on ground in downtown Nashville — Robert Hunter Jr. arrested
42-year-old Robert Hunter Jr., of Massachusetts, is now charged with the domestic assault of his wife, Michelle Hunter, during their trip to Nashville. A witness called 911 while stopped at a traffic light near Broadway & 14th Ave N. when they heard a female scream and yell for help then observed Hunter punching the woman on the ground while yelling obscenities at her. The victim initially claimed the argument was only verbal, however, officers documented multiple injuries on her body and dirt on her clothing. Hunter told police nothing happened, and his wife actually slapped him.
James Harrison deemed too drunk for downtown Nashville — peeing in public
30-year-old James Harrison was deemed to be extremely intoxicated when he whipped it out in the middle of a downtown Nashville parking lot and began to pee in public in front of officers and others. As police made contact he was unsteady on his feet and showed an inability to care for himself. He was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

19-year-old Laricya Green was jailed this week on an outstanding warranting charging her with vandalism. MDHA cameras captured her walking up to the vehicle of Anyika Hawkins and shattering the rear window. The victim and the defendant both have children with the same man and do not have a good relationship with each other.
Clarksville vice-principal Garry Chadwell forced teen to penetrate him sexually, per rape indictment
49-year-old Kenwood High School Assistant Principal & Athletic Director Garry James Chadwell was jailed Tuesday evening, charged with forcing a 17-year-old to penetrate him sexually. The indictment, a copy of which is in the story, alleges one count of forcing the child to penetrate him without the child’s consent, and another count of adding the statutory rape charge. The incident occurred on January 22, 2022.
