Evan Greene jailed after drunkenly pulling on doors of lawyer’s office in downtown Nashville

31-year-old Evan Greene was reportedly pulling doors to get into the Law Office of Bernie McEvoy on 2nd Ave. MNPD officers found Evan, and he was unsteady on his feet, smelled like alcohol, had slurred speech, and eyes were glossy. He told police that he was staying at a hotel nearby, but police checked with the hotel, who said they did not have a reservation for Evan. Police noted several abrasions to Evan’s body, which they determined were from him falling several times the night before. He was taken into custody and transported to booking.

Kevin Griggs cat calls and howls from back of patrol car; “Oh, Baby, YES!”

Security staff at multiple bars on Broadway in downtown Nashville flagged down police after 39-year-old Kevin Griggs was denied entry and was reportedly “touching people” as they walked by. Officers found him to be sweating profusely and stumbling on the sidewalk. He was unable to form sentences, or provide his ID or the names of his friends or hotel. As he was taken into custody for public intoxication, Griggs catcalled and made sexual comments to passersby. During transport, he continued to yell sexual comments, spit, and make howling noises.

Tyler Bashaw jailed after brawling with Honky Tonk Central security

28-year-old Tyler Bashaw and others were involved in a fight with security staff at Honky Tonk Central just before last call Sunday morning and was detained by bouncers. He had reportedly assaulted one of the bouncers, and they wanted him removed from the property. Metro Nashville Police arrived to find him visibly intoxicated and reeking of alcohol. The victim stated he would prosecute for the assault at a later time.

Ronnie Sanchez jailed after swinging on bouncers at Nashville Underground

Police came into contact with 38-year-old Ronnie Sanchez at Nashville Underground in the early hours of Saturday morning, where he was unsteady on his feet and visibly overly intoxicated. He told officers, “I am drunk!” as security staff explained he had attempted to fight them by “swinging on them.” Officers took Sanchez into custody and charged him with public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Tourist Tyler Vandermartin jailed after wild night at Tootsie’s in downtown Nashville

25-year-old Tyler Vandermartin of Pennsylvania was jailed in Nashville late Friday night on nearly a half-dozen charges after assaulting staff at Tootsie’s Bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville. He had been asked to leave due to his disruptive behavior. As he was being escorted out, he began to lunge at the bouncers, causing them to be in fear of imminent bodily injury, according to police. As he was being turned over to Metro Nashville Police, he attempted to kick the officers multiple times during his arrest and search of his person. He was visibly intoxicated and a general annoyance to the general public.

DUI: Samantha Miley blows a 0.216% BAC after night of drinking in Nashville

30-year-old Sam Miley was jailed on May 9th when police responded to a call regarding someone intoxicated in a vehicle. Police observed Miley behind the wheel of the vehicle that was parked but running. She smelled of alcohol and had red eyes. She admitted to drinking and agreed to perform field sobriety tests. Police asked her if there were any medical issues that would prevent her from successfully completing the tasks, to which she replied there was not. Miley also performed the sobriety tests in her high heels and showed signs of impairment on every single test. Police found a half-empty bottle of Jose Cuervo Tequila and the passenger’s side floorboard. She agreed to a breath test and blew a .216% BAC on the breathalyzer.

Jaleel Meadows charged with DUI in downtown Nashville

25-year-old tourist Jaleel Meadows was jailed on April 29th after blocking traffic on Dr. MLK Boulevard. He told police he had something to drink that night and admitted to then driving. Meadows had glossy eyes, was unsteady on his feet, and had alcohol coming from his breath. He agreed to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and refused a breathalyzer.

Joshua Soto charged with DUI for allowing an intoxicated person to drive his car

37-year-old Joshua Caine Soto is charged with DUI (per se) after allowing someone who was intoxicated to drive his vehicle late Tuesday night. Officers were dispatched to a crash on I-40W near exit 206, where Soto was a passenger in the vehicle which was registered to him. After the driver was taken into custody for DUI, Soto was also charged with DUI Per Se for knowingly allowing an intoxicated person to drive his vehicle.
