DUI: Austin Goddard drives military truck into mailbox

47-year-old Austin Goddard backed an Army truck into the mailbox at Dee’s Country Cocktail Lounge in the early hours of Monday.  He drove off without providing his information, returned, started an argument with employees, and then pulled off again. Officers observed the large military green truck and conducted an investigative stop. Goddard was visibly intoxicated when they approached but stated he only had one beer, insisting he was not under the influence. He consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and was taken into custody for driving under the influence, vandalism, and leaving the scene of an accident.

Victor Austin slams baby-mama on ground during dispute over newborn child

28-year-old Victor Austin had an altercation with the mother of his child, Akira Turner, at their home on December 10th. Turner stated that she told Austin to clean his face before kissing their newborn, and an argument ensued when he refused and grabbed her by the neck, leaving a mark where he strangled her. Then, he went to the back while she went to the bathroom; when she returned, another dispute sparked, where she grabbed a knife. They wrestled over the knife until she let go of it, and then he slammed her to the floor. Officers arrived and observed injuries to both parties but deemed Austin as the primary aggressor and placed him into custody for aggravated assault.

Herber Augilar-Martinez shoves multiple people at Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk

22-year-old Herber Mauricio Aguilar-Martinez was getting rowdy, shoving patrons on the dance floor at Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk in the early hours of December 11th. The security at the establishment stated that when they told Aguilar-Martinez to leave the premises, he began to shove them, so they detained him until the officers arrived. Aguilar-Martinez was visibly intoxicated when the officers attempted to interview him, so they tried to transport him to the patrol car, but he stuck his foot out, hindering them from closing the door. Two security officers had to assist in getting him safely into the police vehicle. Aguilar-Martinez was taken into custody for resisting arrest and public intoxication.

Stephen Harrison assaults roommate because he “Would not shut up!”

64-year-old Stephen Harrison was aggressive to his housing roommate, Mark Clinton Bass, at their shared residence on John Mallette Drive in the afternoon hours of December 11th. Bass spoke with the officers and stated that Harrison began punching him for no reason and advised them that he wished to prosecute. Harrison told them that he hit Bass in the head numerous times because he “would not shut up.” He even showed them his red knuckles as proof of the attack. Harrison was taken into custody for assault.

Nashville Muslim family brutally beats son who converts to Christianity

46-year-old Rawaa Khawaji, 29-year-old John Kadum, and 57-year-old Nick Kadum brutally assaulted their minor relative at their shared residence on Amber Hills Lane earlier this week. Police were dispatched late Monday night for a welfare check on the juvenile male, called in by his concerned employer. Officers arrived and noticed his hair was disheveled, cut haphazardly, had a scratch on the back of his right hand, and had several lumps on his face. He stated that Rawaa, his mother, John, his brother, and Nick, his father, attacked him because he had recently become a Christian and they are Muslims. He explained, in further detail, that Nick and John punched him numerous times and spat in his face and that Rawaa took a knife and scratched the back of his hand with it as they demanded him to recant and say he was Muslim. The minor victim advised that this occurred until the officers arrived, trembling as they approached. Rawaa denied that she assaulted him, but Nick and John admitted to striking him. All three were taken into custody and transported to booking.

Gabrielle Barbosa drunkenly walks into traffic on Broadway

29-year-old Gabrielle Alexis Barbosa was walking in the middle of 4th Avenue South, hindering traffic in the early hours of December 9th. Officers patrolled the Broadway area, observed this, and asked Barbosa to get out of the roadway. She initially complied but then walked back into the road and became vulgar when they asked her to move out of the way again. They attempted to detain Barbosa, but she was actively resisting, pushing away from officers. She was visibly intoxicated as officers placed her in custody for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and public intoxication.

DUI: Jonathan Murray drives on wrong side of the road

30-year-old Jonathan Murray was driving the wrong way on Robinson Road toward Madison in the early hours of December 10th. A citizen noticed this, stopped Murray, and removed him from the vehicle to sit on the grass as he called the ambulance. Murray’s car had damage to the bumper and a flat tire. Medics arrived and placed him in the back of the ambulance, where officers noticed him to be visibly intoxicated. They questioned him as he admitted to driving from a hotel in the gulch and having two shots of alcohol. Officers located a nearly empty drink can in Murray’s cupholder and a six-pack of Heineken with three beers left in the backseat. Murray was transported to the hospital and medically cleared in less than thirty minutes. He refused to take sobriety tests and was read implied consent. Murray was taken into custody for driving under the influence, open container violation, and implied consent.

Evan Novy punches multiple people at Whiskey Bent Saloon

42-year-old Evan Matthew Novy was involved in a scuffle with Zachary Michael Tomasiak and Jennifer Dawn Eagle at Whiskey Bent Saloon on Broadway in the early morning hours of December 9th. Officers responded to the incident and were provided footage showing Novy punching Tomasiak in the upper back. It also shows Novy punching Eagle two times in the face, causing swelling to her cheek. Tomasiak and Eagle wished to prosecute the attack. Novy was visibly intoxicated as he was detained a block away from the Saloon and taken into custody for two counts of assault and disorderly conduct.
