Gabrielle Barbosa drunkenly walks into traffic on Broadway

29-year-old Gabrielle Alexis Barbosa was walking in the middle of 4th Avenue South, hindering traffic in the early hours of December 9th. Officers patrolled the Broadway area, observed this, and asked Barbosa to get out of the roadway. She initially complied but then walked back into the road and became vulgar when they asked her to move out of the way again. They attempted to detain Barbosa, but she was actively resisting, pushing away from officers. She was visibly intoxicated as officers placed her in custody for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and public intoxication.

Gabrielle Alexis Barbosa of Maple Ave in Brooklyn, NY, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on December 10th, charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $1,000, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave her pre-trial release from their facility.
