DUI: Victoria Hellman jailed after erratic driving on I-65

25-year-old Victoria Hellman was driving erratically on I-65 N late Sunday night, quickly switching between 50 mph and 80 mph repeatedly. As an officer observed her, she ran off the right side of the road, then ran back onto the road and across multiple lanes. A traffic stop was conducted, and she was visibly intoxicated. Hellman admitted to having “a few drinks at the bar” prior to driving. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI.

Ronnie Sanchez jailed after swinging on bouncers at Nashville Underground

Police came into contact with 38-year-old Ronnie Sanchez at Nashville Underground in the early hours of Saturday morning, where he was unsteady on his feet and visibly overly intoxicated. He told officers, “I am drunk!” as security staff explained he had attempted to fight them by “swinging on them.” Officers took Sanchez into custody and charged him with public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Octavio Gomez punches bouncer in face at Nashville Underground

27-year-old Octavio Gomez was denied entry to Nashville Underground on Broadway in downtown Nashville in the early hours of Saturday morning due to his extreme level of intoxication. He initially walked away but soon returned and punched the bouncer, Steven Derner, in the face. Nearby Metro Nashville Police Officers then took Gomez into custody and charged him with assault and public intoxication.

Colleen Cosner jailed after drunken escapades on Church Street in downtown Nashville

52-year-old Colleen Cosner was jailed Sunday afternoon after reportedly attempting to get into a residential loft building on Church Street in downtown Nashville. A resident of the building says she also attempted to get into his unit inside the building. She was found sitting on the sidewalk with a half-consumed bottle of Whiskey by police., and had also been laying in the private patio area of the building. Due to her level of intoxication, she was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Tourist Joel McClure’s handgun falls from holster while he’s drunk at Kid Rock’s bar

49-year-old tourist Anthony ‘Joel’ McClure was inside Kid Rock’s bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville Saturday when he became extremely intoxicated and was unable to stand on his own, and fell onto the floor multiple times. During one of his falls, a Glock 17 fell from his waistband holster and onto the floor, which was observed by a security guard who secured the weapon and detained McClure. Officers arrived and took McClure into custody and the weapon, which was loaded with one in the chamber, into evidence.

Patrick Targun charged with BUI after drinking on Percy Priest Lake

34-year-old Patrick Targun was operating a vessel in the Seven Points area of Percy Priest Lake Sunday when he cut in front of a TWRA patrol vessel due to not keeping a proper lookout. TWRA Agent Joshua Landrum observed an open container of alcohol in the cupholder beside Targun and initiated a stop of the vessel. Targun was reportedly slow to move around while retrieving his safety equipment and admitted to having “two drinks” that day. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest on multiple charges.

Keaton Caffrey throws cup of ice water onto police officer from rooftop of Jason Aldean’s

22-year-old Keaton Caffrey was on the rooftop of Jason Aldean’s bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville in the early hours of Sunday morning when he threw a cup of ice water onto a police officer walking in the alleyway below. Freshly soaked officer Paul Stein contacted security, who obtained video of the incident and located Caffrey, and detained him. Officers took him into custody and charged him with assault of a police officer.

DUI: Joshua Wilson found passed out behind wheel at downtown intersection

28-year-old Joshua Wilson was found asleep behind the wheel of his running truck at the intersection of Monroe Street and Rosa Parks Blvd at 12:21 a.m. Sunday. Officers blocked the vehicle and attempted to wake the driver using air horns but were unsuccessful — the engine was running, and his foot was on the break with the transmission in drive. He was eventually awakened and was visibly intoxicated, reeking of alcohol. He stated he was drinking alcohol in East Nashville, where he consumed one mixed drink and three shots prior to driving.
