25-year-old Victoria Hellman was driving erratically on I-65 N late Sunday night, quickly switching between 50 mph and 80 mph repeatedly. As an officer observed her, she ran off the right side of the road, then ran back onto the road and across multiple lanes. A traffic stop was conducted, and she was visibly intoxicated. Hellman admitted to having “a few drinks at the bar” prior to driving. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI.
