Houston Tynes-Clinch jailed after punching sister in face

25-year-old Brian Tynes-Clinch was jailed on July 4th after assaulting his sister when he came home drunk. Police spoke with Cali Tynes-Clinch after the incident, who stated that she was at their home on Kingsbury Drive hanging out with a friend when Brian came home drunk and started arguing about how she got “babied by their parents.” Cali said the argument escalated when Brian pinned her against a wall in the kitchen and then repeatedly punched her in the face. Cali’s friend witnessed the assault and said Cali was punched in the face 3-4 times. Cali and her friend then got in her car and called the police. Police saw pictures of Cali’s face from after the incident that showed redness consistent with her statements.

DUI: Blake Bearden drives into pool area and off a rock wall after drinking

31-year-old Blake Bearden drove into the pool area and off a rock wall inside a multi-million dollar estate on Sewanee Road late Wednesday night. Officers arrived to find Bearden asleep in the front seat of his truck with a half-empty beer can in the cup holder and five other empty beer cans in the floorboard. He stated he had come “from Nashville” when he crashed into the South Nashville estate owned by Douglas Kitchen. He admitted to having “too much” to drink and was also the subject of several earlier calls about his erratic driving on Hillsboro Pike. He refused all sobriety testing and was taken into custody.

59-year-old tourist Ronald Hofferber was jailed at Nashville’s 4th of July Celebration after he became a nuisance and attempted to interfere with an arrest. His girlfriend, Hope Trainor, was being arrested after she ripped a mask from a man’s face, and Hofferber became enraged. He was told to walk away, but he refused. He was visibly intoxicated and was taken into custody.

51-year-old Arizona tourist Hope Trainor was jailed at Nashville’s 4th of July celebration after she pulled the mask off the face of another attendee, Bryan Riley. Riley flagged down police to let them know he punched her in the face after she ripped off his mask. She admitted to ripping the mask from his face, stating she “wanted to see who was under the mask.” As she was being detained, she pulled away from officers and was extremely intoxicated. Due to her general behavior and actions, she was taken into custody and faces multiple charges.

Justin Cohen assaults security guard after being kicked out of rooftop pool & bar

24-year-old Justin Cohen was kicked out of the rooftop pool and bar area of the Virgin Hotel Tuesday afternoon after causing a disturbance with other guests. He refused to leave the property when asked, and security guard Dilliun Emerson began to escort him away. Cohen then shoved Emerson and smacked him in the face with the palm of his hand, as confirmed by security footage. Metro Nashville Police arrived and found Cohen extremely intoxicated, and he was charged with public intoxication and assault of the bouncer.

Nicholas Mathis punches bouncer in face as he’s being escorted out of Jason Aldean’s Bar

25-year-old Nicholas Mathis was being escorted out of Jason Aldean’s Bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville early Wednesday morning when he decided he wasn’t going to be taken down the stairs and became aggressive, holding onto the railing. As he was pulled away from his grip and further down the stairs by security guards, he became enraged and punched bouncer Gabriel Fernandez in the face as they were exiting the door. He was taken to the ground, and nearby Metro Nashville Police officers were flagged down. He was taken into custody and charged with assault. Officers documented visible injuries to the victim’s face and ear.

DUI: Victoria Hellman jailed after erratic driving on I-65

25-year-old Victoria Hellman was driving erratically on I-65 N late Sunday night, quickly switching between 50 mph and 80 mph repeatedly. As an officer observed her, she ran off the right side of the road, then ran back onto the road and across multiple lanes. A traffic stop was conducted, and she was visibly intoxicated. Hellman admitted to having “a few drinks at the bar” prior to driving. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI.
