DUI: Brendyn Sullivan falls asleep behind the wheel on Broadway

34-year-old Brendyn Sullivan had fallen asleep behind the wheel at a traffic light near 3rd Avenue and Broadway on May 3rd. When officers arrived, they spoke with Sullivan, who reeked of alcohol and showed multiple signs of intoxication. Sullivan consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and, after being informed of implied consent, agreed to provide a blood sample. Sullivan was transported to Saint Thomas Midtown and then was taken into custody for driving under the influence.

DUI: Christopher Churchwell caught with gun after crashing car

45-year-old Christopher Churchwell had a single-vehicle accident on SR 155 in the early hours of March 9th. When officers arrived, they noticed Churchwell reeked of alcohol as he voluntarily handed them his firearm off his right hip. He consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and then denied implied consent. Churchwell was taken into custody for driving under the influence, possession of a handgun while under the influence, and implied consent.
