Woman admits she was “in the wrong” after attacking boyfriend at his mother’s house on mother’s day

On Mother’s day, 22-year-old Michaela Hunt was with her boyfriend, Christopher Falcon, at the home of his mother, Christie Falcon, in South Nashville. Multiple witnesses at the location reported that Michaela was intoxicated and “causing a scene” during the evening. Christopher says she became verbally aggressive and then began hitting, slapping, and scratching him, which caused multiple visible injuries, as documented by police.

Police say 47-year-old Heather Berry ashed her boyfriend, Jeremiah Steimle, to set up the grill for burgers on Monday night, and when she was “unhappy with his response time,” she began to do it herself. As she began grilling, an argument ensued, and she took all of the food and tossed it off their rear balcony. The argument continued, and she punched him with her fists, as witnessed by his father, who owns the home. Not quite finished, she took a plastic container filled with a beverage and smashed it over his head. Before fleeing the scene, she went through the home and kicked various items, including the TV and soundbar. 

Man smashes girlfriend’s phone after she maces him — Shane Clark arrested

21-year-old Shane Clark is charged with vandalism after he smashed the phone of his girlfriend, Kamirah Thomas, on the side of the road. Police responded to multiple 911 calls from both individuals just after 9 a.m. at the intersection of Bell Grimes Lane and Devonshire Drive. Inside the car was the victim, and Shane Clark was sitting on the side of the road covering his face, which was in tears. He had been maced. She was reportedly attempting to make him leave the residence and he took her phone and walked away. She followed him in her car to attempt to get her phone back. He tried to get into her car, at which point she maced him. He then smashed her phone on the side of the road. 

Man charged with felony assault after refusing to follow his girlfriend back on social media — Andrew Wright

Tiffany Lea says the argument with her on-again/off-again boyfriend of two years, 41-year-old Andrew Wright, began when he refused to follow her back on social media after the two recently reunited and he spent the night at her home. The morning after, she confronted him about why he wouldn’t follow her back, eventually demanding he deletes the photos of her from his cell phone. When he wasn’t satisfied they were also removed from the ‘deleted’ items, too, she took his phone and went to the bathroom to make the deletions herself. That’s when she found nude photos of other women in a ‘hidden’ folder on his phone.

She says he then entered the bathroom and pushed her back with his hands around he throat. She broke away, and he jumped on a conference call for work. While he was going that she demanded he leaves and told him she had viewed the ‘hidden’ images. She says he once again charged at her and strangled her against the counter, breaking part of it. She says he continued the assault throughout the house, pushing and jumping on top of her while asking “Is this what you want?”. He then tossed an ottoman at her. Officers documented the broken cabinet and multiple injuries on the victim.

Preston Jacob Mercer charged with assaulting girlfriend with her glasses

19-year-old Preston Jacob Mercer was with his girlfriend, Audrey Barrett, at the Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet on Nolensville Road when they got into an argument. Once they were outside, the disagreement continued and she states Preston grabbed her glasses and threw them at her. Once back home, police responded to the residence to take a report and observed a small cut and swelling to the victim’s forehead consistent with glasses striking her in the head. During an interview, police say Mercer stated he threw “something from the car that may have been the glasses”.

Lauren Love charged with assault of girlfriend who flushed her drugs down the toilet

Nicole Reed tells police she found methamphetamine on the dresser of her girlfriend, 30-year-old Lauren Love. She says she had already wanted her if she ever found drugs in the apartment she was ending the relationship. As she flushed the drugs down the toilet, she says Love began assaulting her with punches and kicks to her body. she also pulled her purse strap around her neck for a few seconds until it broke. Officers observed injuries to the victim’s hand, arm, and back. A warrant was issued for Love’s arrest, and she was booked on it this week.

Elijah Carter charged after making threats during child custody exchanges with mother of his child

On April 14th, Deseante Horton went to pick up her child from the father, 23-year-old Elijah Carter, at which time she says he began yelling that she was not taking his child back, and he then threatened to smack and beat her, she says. She retrieved the child and once outside of the home, Carter reportedly retrieved a handgun and placed her in fear as she fled. On April 20th, Elijah came to her home to exchange the child, and when she refused to give him the child due to the prior incident, he reportedly texted her that if she didn’t bring the child out he would shoot up her house.

Tyre Grannemann booked on 2020 domestic assault warrant

25-year-old Tyre Grannemann was jailed this week on an outstanding warrant from 2020 charging him with domestic assault. Despite his then-girlfriend, Jilliane Forney, telling police she didn’t want to prosecute and was only filing the report to justify breaking her lease, officers were still bound to act on the report of the assault and issue the warrant. She told police Tyre had been drinking with friends and returned home, and they got into a scuffle with pillows which she says escalated into him slapping and grabbing her neck, strangling her. She provided police with photos of redness in the shape of a handprint, and they observed a small bruise on her arm.

Aaron Shelby puts his hand in a bouncer’s mouth and pulls “like a fishhook” after a “what’s up blood” greeting

Jesse Culpepper was working as a security guard in downtown Nashville Thursday night when 33-year-old Aaron Shelby walked up behind him, said “what’s up blood”, then reached around and placed his finger in Culpepper’s mouth “in a fishhook manner” and began to pull. Culpepper used a foot sweep to take him to the ground, at which point Shelby bit the inside of the bouncer’s thigh twice, and spit in his face. Culpepper was missing some flesh after the wild attack. Shelby was cuffed and detained by Culpepper and transferred to the custody of officers, who he then pelted with racial slurs throughout his interaction.
