Wil Cordova-Garmendia breaks into ex-girlfriend’s home to fight her new boyfriend

34-year-old Wil Cordova-Garmendia sent text messages to his ex-girlfriend, Irma Martinez, stating he was going to have her new boyfriend, Daniel Salgado, killed. On April 23rd, he entered her home from the garage door without any warning or notice, while she was home with her new boyfriend. As the couple hid in a closet, Wil yelled and screamed for Salgado to exit the closet so they could fight.

New Yorker Zackery Green fought with Tootsie’s bouncers after being asked to leave the bar

Security guards at Tootsie’s on Broadway in downtown Nashville say 31-year-old Zackery Green was being unruly and became physically aggressive when asked to leave the location. As they were detaining him, one of the guards, Anthony Cunningham, sustained a minor scrape to his elbow and wanted to press charges for assault. He was transported to booking and charged with assault, public intoxication, and disorderly conduct.

Gerald Harris fled from police in 2017 — this week he was booked into jail

27-year-old Gerald Harris was driving recklessly on Alameda Street in March of 2017 and was pulled over by Officer Mancino. As the officer approached the car and asked for the man’s license, Gerald put the car back into drive and sped away heading East on John A Merritt Blvd. The officer was unable to keep up with the vehicle and issued a warrant for his arrest. Fiver years later, he was booked on the charge of felony evading arrest.

Elijah Carter charged after making threats during child custody exchanges with mother of his child

On April 14th, Deseante Horton went to pick up her child from the father, 23-year-old Elijah Carter, at which time she says he began yelling that she was not taking his child back, and he then threatened to smack and beat her, she says. She retrieved the child and once outside of the home, Carter reportedly retrieved a handgun and placed her in fear as she fled. On April 20th, Elijah came to her home to exchange the child, and when she refused to give him the child due to the prior incident, he reportedly texted her that if she didn’t bring the child out he would shoot up her house.

Tyre Grannemann booked on 2020 domestic assault warrant

25-year-old Tyre Grannemann was jailed this week on an outstanding warrant from 2020 charging him with domestic assault. Despite his then-girlfriend, Jilliane Forney, telling police she didn’t want to prosecute and was only filing the report to justify breaking her lease, officers were still bound to act on the report of the assault and issue the warrant. She told police Tyre had been drinking with friends and returned home, and they got into a scuffle with pillows which she says escalated into him slapping and grabbing her neck, strangling her. She provided police with photos of redness in the shape of a handprint, and they observed a small bruise on her arm.

Austin Rivera booked on outstanding citations for jet skiing after sunset on Percy Priest Lake

In June of 2021, 24-year-old Austin Rivera was issued boating violation citations on Percy Priest Lake for operating a jet ski after sunset and towing two individuals on a tube after sunset. He was scheduled to appear to self-book on the citations a few weeks later but never appeared. Eventually, he was taken into custody on the outstanding criminal charges this week in Nashville. 

Nykeira Collier pushes into brother’s residence, demands to sell his iPad as she needs money

Torrion Collier says his 21-year-old estranged sister, Nykeira Collier, came to his residence late at night and knocked on the door. As he opened it and realized who it was, he attempted to close the door, however, she placed her foot in the doorway. She then pushed through the door while holding an umbrella, using it in a striking motion as she entered. She ran into his bedroom, stating she needed to sell his iPad because she needed money. She is charged with aggravated burglary. 

Dematheus Burns pulls gun on man who backed into his vehicle, demands immediate payment

18-year-old Dematheus Burns was jailed this week on an outstanding warrant charging him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Police say someone accidentally backed into his vehicle in an apartment parking lot. In response, Burns exited his vehicle, produced a handgun, aimed it at the other driver, Roger Alexander III, and demanded immediate payment for the damages. A female in the car, believed to be Alexis Hill, the sister of Burns, was also present. Over the next several days, Hill also contacted the victim by phone and text demanding immediate direct payment.
