Philip Davenport asks”I’m really drunk, aren’t I?, with house key in ignition of his Lexus at Taco Bell

Metro Nashville Police responded to the Taco Bell on the 2900 block of Gallatin Pike Wednesday night on a report of a disorderly person. Employees stated that 63-year-old Philip Davenport was stumbling around his 2003 Lexus SC430 in the parking lot. Police approached the man and observed his house key was in the ignition and the vehicle’s ignition key in the outside door keyhole. After performing poorly on field sobriety tests, Davenport stated, “I’m really drunk, aren’t I?”

Two arrested after Blank Street Brawl —Aerius Collier & Donisha Eddings

27-year-old Aerius Collier and 23-year-old Donisha Eddings were taken into custody after fleeing a fight near Blank & Herman Streets Wednesday night. Two guns were recovered from the vehicle. Eddings’ infant son was in an unsecured child carrier in the backseat. The infant, who was not injured, has been placed with a family member. The Department of Children’s Services was also notified.

Man charged in rape of daughter who now has STI — held on ICE Detainer — Ronaldo Saul Monteroso Gonzalez

25-year-old Ronaldo Saul Monteroso Gonzalez is jailed on a $250,000 bond, charged with the aggravated rape of a child. The juvenile victim, who is his daughter, was transported to Vanderbilt Pediatrics for a possible sexual assault. The child disclosed that “she doesn’t want daddy to touch her anymore because it hurts.” The forensic exam and results occurred on February 27th, and the child tested positive for an STI; however, police say they could not locate Gonzalez until May 11th. His wife states he’s had contact with their children in the time in between, and they were with him as recently as “a few days ago.”

New York man determined to party at Nudie’s Honky Tonk — Matthew Cebulski arrested

22-year-old Matthew Cebulski was determined to keep the party going at Nudie’s Honky Tonk on Broadway in downtown Nashville Tuesday night, despite being kicked out of the venue. Bouncers at the location say Cebulsk was causing a disturbance, so they escorted him out the back door and advised him he was no longer welcome on the property. Matt Cebulski then walked around the building and back inside through the front door. He was once again escorted outside but remained undeterred. He then attempted to climb through the front window of the establishment and reportedly spit on a bouncer who dared to attempt to stop him.

Nicole Moore charged with public intoxication after unable locate friend, knocking on random doors

Late Tuesday night, downtown officers were called to Middleton Street on a complaint of 29-year-old Nicole Moore pulling on door handles and knocking on the doors of random apartments and condos in the area. Police noted her to be extremely intoxicated, unsteady when standing, smelling of alcohol, and with slurred speech. She does not live in the area but stated she was visiting a friend who she was unable to locate.

Fort Campbell Soldier Tamaricus Tanner indicted on Vehicular Homicide by Intoxication for 2021 Crash on Whites Creek Pike

26-year-old Tamaricus Tanner is jailed on a grand jury indictment charging him with vehicular homicide by intoxication, aggravated assault, and recklessness. His blood-alcohol level on the day of the crash was determined to have been above the legal limit. The charges stem from last November’s single-vehicle crash on Whites Creek Pike near Old Clarksville Pike that claimed the life of Tanner’s backseat passenger, Parker McCorvey, 26.

67-year-old Brenda Ross has been involved in more entanglements in the last two months than some folks experience in two decades. In March, Jacinta West received an order of protection against Ross after she said Ross, who was one of the first members of Nashville’s Police Community Oversight Board, stalked her. The two share a circle of friends, some of who warned that Ross had posted on social media alluding she was going o fuck them up and that she was “going to get them.” West says Ross then followed and chased her one night at might as she was picking up a friend, even pulling up beside her and yelling curse words at her. Previously in January, Ross reportedly grabbed West’s wrist while at a nightclub. West states she remains in fear of Ross, and her “political ties” only make the situation worse. Ross is an East Nashvillian who has served on several mayoral-appointed commissions over the years and can be found hobnobbing with the city’s elite on any given night of the week. Ross was jailed on Monday for violating one of the many current orders of protection. She is free on a $1,500 bond.

Over 50 empty beers found in car during DUI investigation — Manuel Garcia arrested

Metro Nashville Police encountered 38-year-old Manual Alberto Garcia at a Mapco on Murfreesboro Pike, where he was parked at a gas pump. As Garcia attempted to exit his vehicle while stumbling, officers observed multiple open containers of Michelob Ultra in the cup holders, including a freshly opened cold beer. On the floorboard of his vehicle, there were over 50 empty bottles of beer. He stated he had consumed 6 beers at that point in the evening.

Elaine Nugent charged in brutal candlestick holder assault of her son — blames it on him

73-year-old Elaine McCarty Nugent, of Joelton, is charged with the wild aggravated domestic assault of her grown son using a candlestick holder, leaving him with three bloody severe lacerations to the top of his head. When confronted about the assault, she tried to downplay that anything happened, eventually blaming her own son, saying he must have injured himself since he was “mentally ill and suicidal,” a claim she attempted to use multiple times. She was “verbally combative and uncooperative” during the investigation, according to officers. Her disdain for the law and law enforcement isn’t anything new, as she frequently ignores court dates and will be extradited to Sumner County when she’s done in Nashville to face multiple failures to appear and a DUI case she’s been avoiding there since 2019.
