Metro Nashville Police responded to Rippy’s Honky Tonk on Broadway in downtown Nashville just before midnight Saturday to a fight call. They found a beaten 31-year-old Christopher Riccio who did not want to press charges on the other person involved. He refused any medical treatment, but due to his extreme level of intoxication and inability to care for himself, he was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

37-year-old Brett Borgia woke up inside a stranger’s car in downtown Nashville Sunday morning with an officer looking back at him. A citizen had called police to report there was a man sleeping inside her car. The man, identified as Borgia, reeked of alcohol, and had broken the windshield wiper control during his slumber. He told police he had been out drinking but doesn’t remember anything else, including which hotel he was staying at, or how he ended up in the vehicle. Due to his continued level of extreme intoxication, he was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Musician Brandon Steadman charged with DUI after cutting through East Nashville parking lot to avoid traffic lights

Police say they conducted a traffic stop on 37-year-old Musician Brandon Steadman after he used the parking lot of an East Nashville Aldi to cut through and bypass two traffic lights. He was reportedly visibly intoxicated and admitted to drinking prior to driving. He began, then stopped, field sobriety tests, and was taken into custody for DUI, violation of the implied consent law, and driving without a license, as his Texas license expired in 2015.

25-year-old Ali Nid-Youssef caused over $20,000 in damages and over 20 guest rooms to become unusable after he vandalized a toilet in the bathroom of the swanky L.A. Jackson rooftop bar at the Thompson Nashville in downtown Nashville, causing massive flooding as the water poured out of the restroom, into the hallway, and into guest rooms below. A witness who was also in the restroom at the time of the incident told him “You can’t just go around breaking stuff”, however, that did not deter him as he was damaging the urinal. Hotel staff identified Nid-Youssef as he was required to scan his ID to enter the rooftop bar area. He fled the area immediately after the incident and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

He explained to her that she could be the one harming someone by drinking and driving — to which she stated “I hope you don’t have any family in the medical field” and “I would feel more remorseful if he was hurt but I literally hugged the other driver”. She continued to lie about how many drinks she had and where she came from, changing her story each time she was asked.

Canadian Christopher O’Malley charged with brazen assault on wife in downtown Nashville

48-year-old Canadian tourist Christopher Andrew O’Malley is charged with the domestic assault of his wife at the intersection of 2nd Ave & Broadway in downtown Nashville. Bishoy Malk was downtown when he noticed Tracy O’Malley on the street, crying. As he asked if the lady needed assistance, her husband, Andrew O’Malley, walked behind her and placed her in a “rear-naked choke” (RNC) hold. Malk alerted a nearby Trooper who broke up the assault. Teenage trio charged in attempted burglary — Bryce Orr, Lesean Shye, William York

On April 4th, Emad Henary called police to report he was watching a live security feed of 3 teens outside his Stop-N-Shop market at 5100 Indiana Ave attempting to break into the front door of the business. Officers quickly responded and located the 3 individuals, identified as Bryce Orr, William York, and Lesean Shye, each 18-years-old. Officers viewed the footage which showed a chain on the front door and the trio attempting to gain entry. They claim the owner asked them to come so they could talk about a “past incident”, however one of the trio admitted to detectives they came to the location to rob the store. Each teen is charged with attempted burglary and possession of burglary tools. As Shye was being escorted to the patrol car he fled and was re-captured after a brief foot pursuit. He is additionally charged with escaping custody.

Daniel Caraballo found intoxicated in airport hotel lobby with pants undone
