Jennie Frank-Gambill charged for fleeing accident on General George Patton Road

43-year-old Jennie Frank-Gambill was issued a citation on October 4th after causing an accident at the intersection of Sawyer Brown Road and General George Patton Road. A witness, Mr. Defeo, heard the crash, stepped out of the house, and observed a Nissan Rogue and Kia Soul in the road. After the crash, Ms. Frank-Gambill drove away, but Mr. Defeo got in his vehicle, followed her to where she was parked on General George Patton Road with the vehicle’s airbags deployed and notified the police. When officers arrived, Ms. Frank Gambill admitted to being the driver. She explained to officers that she left because she thought the other driver had left the area.

Devotis Shelton jailed for sexual battery incident at West End Avenue 7/11

26-year-old Devotis J Shelton was jailed on October 31st for an outstanding warrant regarding a sexual battery incident that occurred in June 2021. On 6/13/2021, Clara Wyszynsiki-Silva was at 7/11 on West End Avenue to get gas when she noticed Shelton staring at her through her windshield as he walked into the store. Silva had issues with her card at the pump, so she went inside to pay. As she approached the front door, Shelton was exiting, so she nervously moved to avoid him. Then, Shelton moved to reach Silva and grabbed her shirt, tearing it, before grabbing her right breast and fleeing as she yelled at him. Silva then went inside to tell 7/11 employees what happened. Officers received surveillance from 7/11 consistent with this version of events and were given screenshots of Shelton to identify him. Silva was later given a photo lineup and pinpointed Shelton as the assailant.

Sarah M Craighead charged with DUI after driving into ditch on Edmondson Pike

44-year-old Sarah Craighead was jailed Tuesday night after she was transported to Southern Hills Hospital when medics found her drunk in her 2013 Ford Fusion at the Edmondson Pike Library. Sarah told officers she had two glasses of wine earlier in the day and didn’t remember what happened that led her to be at the hospital. A witness on the scene told police he observed Sarah behind the wheel and watched as her car rolled down a hill into a ditch on Edmondson Pike. Sarah still had her keys in her front pocket and told police she was the only one in the car. On suspicion of DUI, officers then had Craighead perform SFTs, which Craighead failed, as well as blowing a .103% BAC on a breathalyzer. This led to officers charging Sarah with DUI and taking her into custody.

Michael Joseph Ireland charged with public intoxication for pulling fire alarm at Dream Nashville

47-year-old Michael Ireland was disorderly in the lobby of Dream Nashville on Halloween. The hotel manager spoke with officers as they arrived and advised them that Ireland had gone into the off-limits fire closet and pulled the fire alarm. Deputies confirmed this with the dispatch for The Fire Department and two other witnesses. Hotel security escorted Ireland, who was visibly intoxicated, to the lobby. When officers questioned him about the incident, Ireland had an odor of alcohol and marijuana emanating from his person, admitting he had recently consumed both. Ireland was then taken into custody for public intoxication and reporting a false emergency.

Robert D Dozier charged with domestic assault after punching nephew in the face

47-year-old Robert Dozier Jr. was involved in a domestic altercation with his nephew, Jacob Dozier, at their home on Harpeth Parkway West on Halloween night. Robert spoke with officers when they arrived, as they were dispatched about Jacob possibly being suicidal. Robert advised them that Jacob was arguing with their family members and had thrown food on the floor. Robert then stated he hit Jacob on the leg with a belt as a form of discipline. In response to this, Jacob approached Robert with clenched fists, and Robert punched Jacob in the right side of his face. Jacob retaliated by punching Robert back, to which Robert then pushed Jacob away. Jacob confirmed the incident as officers observed slight redness on the right side of his face. Robert Dozier Jr. was then taken into custody for domestic assault.

Devin Hodgedon kicked out of Jason Aldean’s bar for being too drunk & disorderly

21-year-old Devin Hodgdon was booked Friday evening after refusing to stay away from Jason Alden’s bar on Broadway. Security told officers that Hodgdon was escorted out of the bar several times but still tried to enter the bar from other doors. He even jumped the fence to go by the door that leads to the kitchen and was escorted back out. When the police advised Mr. Hodgdon that he needed to leave and not come back, he refused. He left the property briefly and returned to talk to security at the door. The officers gave him several warnings to leave and offered to call an Uber for him, but he continued to return to the bar. He was eventually arrested for public intoxication and transported to booking.

Carson Dobozy cried as he was taken into custody for public intoxication in Nashville

24-year-old Carson Dobozy’s eyes teared up as he began to cry and speak with Officer Danielle Thompson at booking in the early hours of Saturday morning. Just after 2:30 a.m. Dobozy had been found asleep in a parking garage on 4th Ave North, in an obvious state of over-intoxication. He was unable to locate any friends or family to retrieve him and refused medical assistance. With no other resources, Dobozy was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Tourist Farmer Blake McFadin crashes F-250, filled with Smirnoff Vodka, Mike’s Hard Lemonade, shooters…

20-year-old Tourist Farmer Blake McFadin was involved in an accident while driving his Ford F-250 late Saturday night. Police responded to the scene, where McFadin claimed he was not paying attention and the accident was his fault. Inside what he described as his “company truck,” was an open Smirnoff 100-proof bottle of Vodka that was 75% empty, five empty “shooter-style” bottles of 99-proof alcohol, an empty Mike’s Hard Lemonade, along with other empty alcohol containers in the back. Vomit lined the inside of the driver’s seat. Blake claimed he “has an ongoing stomach issue” but wouldn’t elaborate further. He initially denied drinking, then admitted earlier in the day. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and eventually admitted to consuming “more than a few shots” prior to driving, though he claims he slept between the drinking and the driving. 

Teen Matthew Walker in Michael Myers mask jailed after pretending to stab people in downtown Nashville

18-year-old Matthew Walker was jailed Friday night after alarming citizens on the streets of downtown Nashville. Police say the teen, who was armed with a prop knife and wearing a Michael Myers costume, walked up to strangers and acted as if he were stabbing them. Walker says he was just having fun and was attempting to scare people in the costume. Metro Nashville Police says he intended to cause “public alarm” and took him into custody, charging him with disorderly conduct.
