47-year-old Michael Ireland was disorderly in the lobby of Dream Nashville on Halloween. The hotel manager spoke with officers as they arrived and advised them that Ireland had gone into the off-limits fire closet and pulled the fire alarm. Deputies confirmed this with the dispatch for The Fire Department and two other witnesses. Hotel security escorted Ireland, who was visibly intoxicated, to the lobby. When officers questioned him about the incident, Ireland had an odor of alcohol and marijuana emanating from his person, admitting he had recently consumed both. Ireland was then taken into custody for public intoxication and reporting a false emergency.
