DUI: Stephen Gill crashes into semi-truck after drinking at South Nashville bar

28-year-old William Stephen Gill told police he had just left a gay bar South of downtown Nashville, where he had been drinking, when he was in an accident with a semi-truck near the intersection of Murfreesboro Pike and Spence Lane. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests, and refused all other testing and questions. He was taken into custody and charged with DUI.

William Stephen Gill of Abby Ct in Mobile, AL, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on November 5, charged with DUI and violation of the implied consent law. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,500, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave him pre-trial release from their facility.
