18-year-old Jeisser Portillo goes over 100 mph down I-40 in silver Infiniti

18-year-old Jeisser Portillo was booked on December 13th when a police helicopter observed a silver Infiniti speeding over 100mph on Interstate 40. Police caught up to the vehicle at a gas station on Nolensville Pike and Elysian Fields Road and observed Mr. Portillo enter the driver’s seat of the Infiniti, whose temp tags returned to a BMW. When police attempted to initiate a traffic stop, Portillo “blacked out” his vehicle and sped off. Air 1 tracked the car to Antioch Pike, where police conducted a takedown. Wilson and the passenger were taken into custody, and the passenger was later released. Wilson admitted to not having a driver’s license.

18-year-old Donte Wilson was jailed for strangling his girlfriend at her home on Lincoya Bay Drive. 67-year-old Cleophius Counts was stopped at Exit 1 for a moving violation on the morning of December 13th. Officers observed a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle as they approached Counts and asked him to exit the car. Counts admitted to having a 24oz Busch beer can in the driver’s side door that he had been drinking. Counts consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and was taken into custody for driving under the influence and an open can violation.

Shayna Little does donuts on ex’s new girlfriend’s front lawn

30-year-old Shayna Michelle Little vandalized Heather Herren’s residence on the afternoon of November 21st. Herren reported issues with Little due to her dating Little’s ex-boyfriend. She advised that Little arrived at her house despite being told not to and began to do donuts on her front lawn, causing damage. Officers spoke with Little on December 10th regarding the incident, and she admitted to driving her car onto Herren’s property. She also stated that she returned and spray-painted “FU” on the road, insisting it was technically not on Herren’s property. Little was taken into custody for vandalism on December 12th.

Tyron Dalton drives on wrong side of road, caught with marijuana

20-year-old Tyron Lamont Dalton was driving the wrong way toward oncoming traffic by RiverGate Mall on November 6th. Officers observed this, conducted a traffic stop, and noticed a strong odor of marijuana as they approached the driver’s side. A probable cause search yielded a small blunt in a bag with Dalton’s ID. Dalton was booked on a citation for simple possession on December 11th.

Amber Shanks breaks woman’s hip, elbow during dispute over parking

22-year-old Amber Shanks was booked on an outstanding warrant from August 31st when she assaulted a woman on 18th Avenue. Constance Woolsey told police that she noticed a car parked in a private parking lot behind her building and argued with Shanks as she said she was parked on private property. Shanks then jumped the fence and kicked Ms. Woosley in her hip after shoving her to the ground. Woolsey advised that after she fell, she was unable to get up on her own, and Ms. Shanks stood over her, yelling for her to get up. Shanks then left the location in her black Nissan Altima. Woolsey was transported to the ER. She sustained a broken elbow and a broken hip from being shoved to the ground.

DUI: John Sebastian Carmouche drinks “a few beers” before crashing vehicle to “avoid a deer”

55-year-old John Sebastian Carmouche was involved in a single-vehicle accident at Old Hickory Boulevard on November 18th. Officers responded, arrived, and spoke with Carmouche, who was visibly intoxicated. Carmouche advised he had swerved to avoid a deer and admitted to having consumed a few beers 5-6 hours before driving. He consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, refused implied consent, and was cited for driving under the influence. Carmouche was booked on December 8th.
