18-year-old Katherine Eubanks was involved in a domestic dispute with her brother, Jack Eubanks, at their shared residence on December 13th. Jack advised that Katherine poured orange juice on him during a verbal altercation. He decided to walk away to prevent the feud from escalating and heard a loud thud while walking in the backyard. Jack stated he looked down, saw a knife near him, and called 911. Katherine locked herself inside the house and refused to open the door. Her dad, Craig Eubanks, and Jack unlocked the door and found her in her bedroom. She did not deny throwing the knife and was taken into custody for domestic assault.
