Small town Mayor Michael Cherepko jailed in Nashville after causing drunken disturbance 

46-year-old Michael Cherepko, who is the Mayor of the small town of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, found himself in a Nashville jail cell just hours after his own city’s Christmas parade this weekend. Just after 2 a.m. Sunday, Metro Nashville Police Officers were flagged down near Whiskey Row for a man causing a public disturbance. Cherepko was reportedly “extremely intoxicated” and was ranting about losing his credit card. Security confirmed that the Mayor closed his tab at 1:15 a.m., when his card was returned to him. Mayor Cherepko admitted he was “messed up” when talking with police. He was advised to come back tomorrow and see if he could locate his credit card, and he seemingly left the area. Twenty minutes later, Cherepko returned, too intoxicated to reason with, and caused another disturbance with security. He was detained for Metro Police, who took him into custody after he was unable to locate anyone to retrieve him to a safe place.

James Keyes drunkenly ignores crossing guard, walks into traffic

24-year-old James Keyes was on Broadway when he was nearly hit by a vehicle on the night of November 18th. Officers observed Keyes disregard the crossing guard and traffic signals and walk into oncoming traffic. Keyes was visibly intoxicated and unaware that he was almost struck by a car. Officers attempted to contact his friends to pick him up, but no one answered, and he did not know where his hotel was. Keyes was deemed a danger to himself and was arrested for public intoxication.

Andrew Torres curses at officers for denying him entry into Jason Aldean’s Bar

34-year-old Andrew Torres was lying on the ground in front of Jason Aldean’s Bar on November 18th. Officers observed Torres to be visibly intoxicated as they were advised by a security guard from Jason Aldean’s Bar that he attempted to push his way into the bar several times after being denied entry. Torres told officers that he came with lots of people, and when they asked him if anyone could get him, he became agitated and started cursing at officers. Torres was placed into custody for public intoxication.

Glenn Beauchamp drunk and disorderly in emergency room

61-year-old Glenn Beauchamp was drunk and disorderly at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital Midtown in the early hours of October 25th when he was told numerous times to leave the property. Beauchamp was visibly intoxicated as he admitted to having five beers earlier to officers. Security at St. Thomas advised officers that Beauchamp was not being seen for anything but was visiting a friend. He began to be vulgar towards the nursing staff as he started filming inside the emergency room and became aggressive when security asked him to stop filming and cursing. Beauchamp was forced out of the hospital by security as he told officers that he was okay to remain on hospital property because he called the police and that he was upset because he did not think that his friend needed the treatment that the staff administered. Beauchamp was taken into custody for criminal trespassing and public intoxication.

David Tietjen removed from Nashville Palace, tells officers, “Just take me to jail!”

56-year-old David Karl Tietjen was drunk and disorderly at Nashville Palace Bar this weekend. An NPB bartender told officers that Tietjen was asked to leave, left, and continued to try to reenter after being told he was no longer welcome on the property. Tietjen stated he was waiting on an Uber as officers observed him to be visibly intoxicated, and he even admitted to having nine alcoholic drinks. Officers were waiting for confirmation that he requested an Uber when he asked them, “What are we doing? Are we waiting for an Uber, or am I going to jail?” Tietjen walked to the officer’s patrol car and pulled the door handle as they tried to help him locate his Uber, and then he said, “Just take me to jail.” Tietjen was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Justin Fowler gets drunk and steals woman’s purse

35-year-old Justin Matthew Fowler was drunk and disorderly at Ole Red on the night of November 12th. Security flagged down officers and advised them that Fowler had taken a woman’s purse. Fowler spoke with officers about the incident and was visibly intoxicated and could not maintain his train of thought as they questioned him. He was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Christopher Kemp found drunk in parking lot, runs away from police

21-year-old Christopher Kemp was jailed on November 12th after officers observed him lying in the parking lot of the Horton Events Building on Lafayette Street. When officers approached Kemp and asked for his ID, he stood up and started walking away. They stopped him by restraining him, but he pulled away and ran into the middle of the intersection of 7th and Lafayette. When officers displayed their taser, Kemp finally complied. He had bloodshot eyes, dilated pupils, and sluggish speech and movements consistent with the use of narcotics. Officers also observed a bottle of beer beside him. A trespass waiver was already on Kemp’s file for that location, so he was taken into custody.  

Stephanie Lavalley drunkenly yells racial slurs at officers

28-year-old Stephanie Lynn Lavalley was drunk at One Hotel on the morning of November 12th. Officers were dispatched regarding a kidnapping and spoke with Lavalley, who was visibly intoxicated and repeatedly asked what happened to her baby, who she later said was in New Jersey. One of the hotel staff members spoke with officers and advised them that Lavalley walked up to her and said a man in a van attempted to kidnap her. The staff provided footage of the incident showing that Lavalley arrived in a minivan, walked away, turned around, ran back, got into the front seat, and spoke with the driver as he handed her his phone. Then, Lavalley exited the van, ran back again, and opened the doors to look for something; the driver walked over to her and spoke with her before she walked to the hotel staff. Officers asked Lavalley where she was staying and who she was with. Lavalley could not answer, so they placed her under arrest. Lavalley then began to yell racial slurs, telling the officers that they had small penises and that she would be laughing when their mother died. Then, she began to laugh maniacally in the back of the patrol car as she was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Ellie Bemrose drunkenly gets into someone else’s Uber on Broadway

21-year-old Ellie Bemrose got into an Uber that she did not request on Broadway in the early hours of November 12th. The driver flagged down the officers, and they escorted Bemrose out of the vehicle. Bemrose was visibly intoxicated as officers attempted to assist her in getting home. However, she did not have a wallet, a phone, or any numbers of family or friends. Bemrose was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Keaton Fedrizzi kicked out of The Valentine, drunkenly tries to re-enter multiple times

24-year-old Keaton Fedrizzi was drunk and disorderly at The Valentine in the early hours of November 12th. Officers spoke with security and were advised that Fedrizzi was kicked out of the bar and kept trying to re-enter after being told multiple times not to. Fedrizzi fell to the ground and was visibly intoxicated when officers approached. He was taken into custody for public intoxication.
