James Keyes drunkenly ignores crossing guard, walks into traffic

24-year-old James Keyes was on Broadway when he was nearly hit by a vehicle on the night of November 18th. Officers observed Keyes disregard the crossing guard and traffic signals and walk into oncoming traffic. Keyes was visibly intoxicated and unaware that he was almost struck by a car. Officers attempted to contact his friends to pick him up, but no one answered, and he did not know where his hotel was. Keyes was deemed a danger to himself and was arrested for public intoxication.

James Keyes was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on November 18, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $250.
