Man breaks into AirBNB & crawls into bed with children — Tanner Thomas Tamsin

Police say 31-year-old tourist Tanner Thomas Tamsin broke into an AirBNB apartment at the Sonder Apartments on 7th Ave North Friday night, where two children were sleeping on a fold-out bed in the living room. He climbed between the two children and went to sleep. At 3:15 a.m. Christina Johnson and her husband returned to the AirBNB to find the stranger sleeping between their children. They shook Tamsin’s leg to wake him up, causing him to jump up from the bed and charge at Christina, all of which was captured on video. Officers arrived and located Tamsin on the first level of the complex and took him into custody.

Three teens dead after fleeing from Nashville Police’s Street Racer Initiative Officer

The three teens killed in Sunday morning’s single-vehicle crash near the intersection of Sidco Drive and Powell Avenue are identified as Jeffrie Prendergast, 18, who was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro, and his two passengers, Jonathan Jesus Bravo, 18, and Jordan Posantes, 19, all of Franklin. An officer from MNPD’s Street Racing Initiative attempted to pull over the car as it left from a gathering when the car fled and crashed, killing all three teenagers.

Silas Lunsford charged with DUI, thanks to a Trooper’s taste for a Cherry ICEE

51-year-old Silas Lunsford pulled into the Shell gas station on Hillsboro Pike on June 6 and went into the store. Just outside was THP Trooper Reggie Edge, who was finishing pumping his gas. The Trooper went inside and was paying for his Cherry ICEE when he noticed Lunsford was visibly intoxicated and had trouble standing. Lunsford admitted to having two alcoholic drinks when asked by the Trooper and agreed to perform field sobriety tests, which he did poorly on. He was taken into custody and charged with DUI.

Kristen Lacey booked on outstanding citation for DUI

27-year-old Kristen Lacey was booked this week on an outstanding citation from January, charging her with DUI. Police say Lacey crashed her Honda CRV on 2nd Ave S and kept repeating, “I messed up,” when officers arrived at the scene. She immediately disclosed she had been drinking at a party prior to driving, and consumed three to four glasses of wine. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was transported to Metro General Hospital for her injuries and issued a citation for the DUI due to her hospitalization.

Tourist Sean Gaddis flees car accident scene, located at Nashville Airport

51-year-old tourist Sean Gaddis from North Carolina was in an automobile crash on I-40 E near the I-65 split on the afternoon of May 17. Police say that due to the location, both drivers agreed to continue to the next exit at Fessler Lane to complete the report and exchange information. Instead of stopping at any of the next exits, Gaddis reportedly drove to the airport to continue his day. Police located him at the Nashville International Airport and charged him with leaving the scene of an accident with property damage. He returned to Nashville to be booked on that citation this week.

Crystal Holder pulled braids from her sister’s head, left her with large bald patch after fight

20-year-old Crystal Holder was jailed this week on an outstanding domestic assault warrant from November. Police say that just four days before Thanksgiving, Holder pulled the hair of her sister, Shantel Lacy, during a domestic dispute on Archwood Place. Responding officers documented a bald patch on Lacy’s head and several long braids pulled out and laying on the table. Holder fled the scene before police arrived, and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
