Officers located a very intoxicated 34-year-old Eric Lee Young face down on the sidewalk, apparently sleeping it off, outside of Kid Rock’s Bar around closing time Friday morning. He had trouble standing on his own and thought he was an entirely different bar. He was charged with public intoxication.

| The defendant was observed laying on the ground in front of Kid Rocks located at 221 Broadway. Officers woke the defendant up and helped him to his feet. Once the defendant was on his feet he was very unsteady. The defendant had an obvious odor of alcoholic beverage on his expelled breath and watery bloodshot eyes. The defendant thought he was at Rippy’s and didn’t realize he was at Kid Rocks. The defendant was taken into custody due to being a danger to himself if left in his intoxicated state. |
