52-year-old tourist Luis Gomez, from Colorado, faces multiple assault charges after he slapped his wife during an argument at Kid Rock’s bar in downtown Nashville, and then reportedly assaulted a bartender when she told them they needed to leave the venue. Gomez is charged with the domestic assault of his wife, and assault of the bartender, and is free on a $3,500 cash bond.

| On 11/13/2021 officers were dispatched to Kid Rocks Bar at 221 Broadway. Once officers arrived on the scene, security advised they had a male in custody for assaulting his wife and a bartender. Officers were advised that the defendant and his wife Dee Ann Gomez were arguing at the bar and defendant Louis Gomez slapped his wife with an open hand on the side of her face.
The Bartender Chelsea McCarthy stated she witnessed this assault and called security and told them they needed to leave. The defendant got upset and then hit Chelsea McCarthy in the arm. Security then responded and took the defendant into custody. Officer also spoke to a witness that stated they saw both assaults. |
