Jaime Lyons charged in brutal assault of girlfriend

Metro Nashville Police met with Rose Suttle, who presented with multiple bruises on her face and arms and stated she was beaten by her now ex-boyfriend, 47-year-old Jaime Lyons. She states she went into her living room, and the next thing she remembers, she was waking up and being dragged down her hallway by Lyons. She says she made multiple attempts to escape, and all were met with her being slammed into walls throughout the home. Lyons was charged with domestic assault with bodily injury and is free on a $10,000 bond.

Eric Watkins deemed too drunk for downtown Nashville

Metro Nashville Police say 45-year-old Eric Alan Watkins was drunkenly walking in front of Tequila Cowboy on Broadway in downtown Nashville when he fell over, grabbing onto a podium and taking it down with him. Officers approached Watkins, who reeked of alcohol, and noted his level of intoxication and that his pants were unzipped. Watkins was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

Tyneshia Shant’e Woodland goes on rampage when boyfriend discovers she’s cheating

Police say 22-year-old Tyneshia Shante Woodland damaged the car of her boyfriend, Nadarius Henderson, on November 11th. Some of the damage includes scratches, a busted tail light, a busted headlight, and attempts to puncture the tires. During the automobile assault, Henderson attempted to block things that she threw at him, including a knife, leaving him with a bloody hand and injuries. The argument began when Henderson was told by multiple people that Woodland was cheating on their relationship, so he came to their shared apartment to gather his belongings. Upset that he was leaving, Woodland reportedly went on a rampage. She is charged with vandalism and felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

DUI: Sheldon Hicks has a “few Tito’s” before crashing car in Hermitage

24-year-old Sheldon Hicks told officers he had a “few Tito’s” before crashing his vehicle late Thursday night near Old Hickory Blvd and Andrew Jackson Parkway. He was disoriented after the crash and attempted to enter another involved vehicle, believing it was his own. He clarified he had a few shots of Tito’s around 7 p.m. but was unsure exactly how many shots he consumed. Hicks was medically cleared at Summit Hospital and then transported to booking.

DUI: Dustin Weber travels 90 in a 55 mph zone; open beer bottles & Adderall in vehicle

37-year-old Dustin Albert Weber was driving his vehicle at 90 mph in a 55 mph zone just after 1 a.m. Thursday, according to THP Trooper Joseph Chery. Chery says Weber passed his patrol car at that speed, and he initiated a traffic stop on I-40 near mile marker 52. Weber reportedly reeked of alcohol and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Inside his vehicle was two empty beer bottles (Samuel Adams) and several pills, believed to be Adderall.

Carlton Clemons found with 58 pounds of marijuana in luggage at Nashville Airport

35-year-old Carlton Michael Clemons is jailed on a $150,000 bond after Airport Police discovered 58 pounds of vacuum sealed marijuana in his luggage as he arrived from Denver on a Southwest Airlines flight just after 1:30 a.m. Friday. Officers say K-9 Power alerted to the large black Samsonite roller bag, which had a strong odor of marijuana. Clemons admitted to knowing what was in the bags and was placed into custody. Officers note he was “completely cooperative and compliant” during questioning, search, and arrest.

Keonza Scales pulls gun on mother, makes threats while pointing it in her face

Witnesses say 19-year-old Keonza Scales pointed a handgun at his mother’s face and stated, “b*/ch, get back,” during a family argument. The incident began when Keonza’s 16-year-old brother was in an argument with their mother, Ivary Scales, and Keonza riled up his brother, antagonizing the situation, and causing the juvenile’s behavior to worse. The juvenile then pulled a gun, which belonged to his mother, and was quickly disarmed by his mother and a witness, and Keonza was told to secure the handgun. Instead, he pointed the handgun at his mother’s face while making threats. He was not present when police arrived, but a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was booked on that warrant this week.
