Police say they found around twenty 50ml “vodka shooters” in the crashed vehicle of 25-year-old Katherine Webb after she crashed into a block wall on Reynolds Road Saturday evening, deploying all of her airbags. Webb was still inside the vehicle and refused to open or unlock her doors. First responders had to break out a window to enter the vehicle and get her transported for medical treatment. Webb claimed she only had 2 shots of vodka earlier but did not consume any of the “vodka shooters” inside the vehicle. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI.

25-year-old Chase Jenkins crashed into another vehicle Friday night in North Nashville, then casually exited his vehicle and went to a nearby convenience store for “water and gum” while the woman in the impacted vehicle remained in her driver’s seat. Police say he was initially stopped for speeding on West End Ave and reeked of alcohol when speaking to the officer. He originally stated he consumed alcohol before driving but later declared he didn’t have anything to drink. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI.

Michael Sexton charged in DUI after Dickerson Pike crash

50-year-old Michael Shawn Sexton crashed on Dickerson Pike just before midnight Thursday. Officers arrived and noted he could barely speak, and when he did, it was very slurred, and he reeked of alcohol. 22-year-old Alicea Bowker is charged with DUI after police say she crashed her red Prius into a Chevy Impala in East Nashville in the early overnight hours of Monday morning. Bowker says she was leaving the Up-Down bar, where she consumed two Moscow Mules, and was reaching for French fries in her vehicle when she hit the Impala, which was parked on the side of the road. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and blew a 0.156% BAC on a breathalyzer.

DUI: Kyle Mahoney charged after North Nashville crash

Multiple witnesses say 35-year-old Kyle Mahoney was driving his truck on 24th Ave North in the early hours of Sunday morning when he slid and ran off the road, crashing into a utility pole. He reportedly stumbled out of the truck and told officers he had “a lot” of alcohol prior to driving but could not remember how much or what kind. Mahoney was transported to booking and charged with DUI.

DUI: Jordan Roberts drives crashed car to gas station & passes out at the pumps

Police say 22-year-old Jordan Roberts crashed his car in the early hours of Sunday morning and fled the crash site in his damaged vehicle. He was later found unresponsive in his vehicle at the 7-Eleven on Hwy 70 South. Nashville Fire was the first on scene and observed Roberts to be unresponsive behind the wheel while parked at a gas pump, with the car covered in debris from the earlier crash. Inside the vehicle was a half-consumed can of beer. Roberts had regained consciousness by the time police arrived, and they reported he reeked of alcohol. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and would later blow a 0.144% BAC on a breathalyzer.
