Metro Nashville Police say 31-year-old Kathleen McMunn was driving home from a date in East Nashville when she crashed into two parked cars on Chicamauga Ave. During the date, McMunn says she had three beers and five glasses of water. DUI: Lucas Gonzales says a stranger gave him a Roxicodone to make him feel better
23-year-old Lucas Gonzales told police he wasn’t feeling well when he left work Monday, so he stopped at a gas station on his way home. He claims a “random guy” gave him a “little blue pill, called a Roxi,” and told him it would “make him feel better and help with his anxiety.” Gonzales swallowed the pill from the alleged stranger and continued on his quest toward home. As he made it to the intersection of Murfreesboro Pike and Smith Springs Road, he passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle and was brought back to the land of the living when Nashville Fire medics used Narcan on him when they arrived at the scene. Medics reported he only had a faint heartbeat when they arrived. He is charged with DUI.
Shannon Crothers charged in West End DUI — blows double legal limit after “a few beers”
Metro Police say 36-year-old Shannon May Crothers was driving on West End with no headlights in the early hours of Friday morning. She was slow to respond after an officer initiated a traffic stop but eventually parked in an alley between 16th & 17th Ave. She reportedly smelled of alcohol and admitted to drinking a “few beers” at an event with friends. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and later blew a 0.164% BAC on a breathalyzer —double the legal limit in Tennessee.

28-year-old Charles Schubert crashed his vehicle at the Shell on Hermitage Ave in downtown Nashville in the overnight hours of Tuesday. Officers arrived to find him standing outside his vehicle, where he admitted to consuming “1-2 drinks” prior to driving. He refused field sobriety tests and breath and blood samples. Schubert was transported to booking and charged with DUI.
DUI: Brian Hubert charged after crashing into parked cars in downtown Nashville
Police say 37-year-old Brian Hubert struck several parked vehicles in downtown Nashville after he drank a 24oz Mexican beer and 12oz mule drink prior to driving. Hubert claims he was driving his 2002 Chevrolet Traverse when another vehicle was coming toward him on 5th Ave N, and he moved over, causing him to strike multiple vehicles. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was charged with driving under the influence.
Shelly Reppert charged with DUI after West Nashville crash
32-year-old Michelle Lynn “Shelly” Reppert was involved in an injury crash on Charlotte Ave on October 15th and appeared to be intoxicated when officers and medics responded to the scene. When asked, Reppert admitted to being “more sensitive to alcohol” and having a “few drinks with dinner.” She later admitted she should not have been driving. Reppert performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI.

Metro Nashville Police located 40-year-old Mark Newman asleep behind the wheel of his vehicle at the intersection of Murfreesboro Pike and Bell Road just before 1 a.m. Wednesday, where he had been for at least 20 minutes, according to calls from witnesses. The white Chevy Silverado was in drive, and Newman’s foot was on the brake. NFD medics woke Newman up, and he admitted to consuming “4-5 beers” at a bar prior to driving. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI.
DUI: David Dybala charged after crashing on Broadway and fleeing the scene
Metro Nashville Police say 39-year-old David Dybala crashed his vehicle into another near 1100 Broadway Wednesday and fled the scene. Officer located him as he was driving away toward the interstate onramp. Officers approached the vehicle, which stopped, and Dybala existed without any prompting. He reportedly reeked of alcohol and had trouble standing. He refused field sobriety tests but was unable to follow simple instructions, such as sitting on a concrete slab.
