DUI: Soldier Joshua Dagrin casually walks away from crashed car after injuring woman

26-year-old Fort Campbell soldier Joshua Dagrin, who was recently named the ‘Iron Warrior of the Week’ of the Rakkasans, crashed his vehicle into another vehicle at 17th and Broadway in the early hours of Saturday morning and casually walked away from the scene. The injured driver of the other vehicle stated she watched Dagrin walk away from the accident, and Dagrin’s passenger, Danielle Caron, confirmed that Dagrin was the driver. He was located up the street and admitted he drank “a couple of beers” before driving. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was transported to booking.

Michael Wachtman charged with DUI after parking in middle of roadway in neighborhood

Nashville Fire responded to a call of a white Chevy Taho parked but running in the middle of the roadway on Fitzpatrick Road on November 15th. They made contact with the driver, 34-year-old Michael Christopher Wachtman, who was visibly intoxicated and reeked of alcohol. He had to be assisted to the ambulance due to his level of intoxication. Metro Nashville Police officers arrived and noted a liquor bottle in a brown paper bag and several small open land empty small liquor bottles inside the vehicle. He would eventually refuse medical transport and was transported to booking.

DUI: Sheldon Hicks has a “few Tito’s” before crashing car in Hermitage

24-year-old Sheldon Hicks told officers he had a “few Tito’s” before crashing his vehicle late Thursday night near Old Hickory Blvd and Andrew Jackson Parkway. He was disoriented after the crash and attempted to enter another involved vehicle, believing it was his own. He clarified he had a few shots of Tito’s around 7 p.m. but was unsure exactly how many shots he consumed. Hicks was medically cleared at Summit Hospital and then transported to booking.

DUI: Dustin Weber travels 90 in a 55 mph zone; open beer bottles & Adderall in vehicle

37-year-old Dustin Albert Weber was driving his vehicle at 90 mph in a 55 mph zone just after 1 a.m. Thursday, according to THP Trooper Joseph Chery. Chery says Weber passed his patrol car at that speed, and he initiated a traffic stop on I-40 near mile marker 52. Weber reportedly reeked of alcohol and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Inside his vehicle was two empty beer bottles (Samuel Adams) and several pills, believed to be Adderall.

Bryant Reynolds charged with DUI after Crown Royal Crash in Madison

23-year-old Bryant Reynolds wrecked his gray Nissan Altima into a large ditch Monday evening in Madison, and officers responded to the scene after a passerby called in the accident. As they approached, Reynolds exited his vehicle and stated he needed a tow truck, as he was driving and he just “ended up there,” but he wasn’t sure how it happened. Offices report Reynolds was obviously intoxicated and observed an open container of a Crown Royal mixed drink, along with additional cans in the vehicle. He admitted to having “several mixed drinks and two shots of Crown Royal” a few hours before driving. He was transported to booking and charged with DUI. He blew a 0.122% BAC on a breathalyzer.

DUI: John Bostwick says he just left Red Door Saloon but didn’t drink anything; BAC disagrees

Police say 24-year-old John A. Bostwick was traveling 83 mph in a 40 mph zone at 1:46 a.m. Wednesday on Harding Pike. Officer Haley Doty initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle, driven by Bostwick, and noted the immediate smell of alcohol. Bostwick stated he was coming from the Red Door Saloon but denied drinking any alcohol while he was there. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and blew a 0.12% BAC on a breathalyzer. He was transported to booking and charged with DUI.

DUI: Nathaniel Rico found asleep behind the wheel of his Scion in the middle of the road

Police found 26-year-old Nathaniel Cole Rico asleep behind the wheel of his silver Scion in the early hours of Sunday morning at the intersection of McGavock Pike and Pennington Centre Blvd. Officers arrived and attempted to wake Rico, who initially refused. Eventually, he exited the vehicle, revealing a strong smell of alcohol coming from him. He admitted to drinking “3 or 4 beers” at a bar prior to driving and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. He was transported to booking and charged with DUI.
