Adam Wilson flees after DUI crash in East Nashville

Police say 37-year-old Adam Wilson crashed into another vehicle in East Nashville late Sunday night and then fled south on Gallatin Pike. Wilson was driving a Toyota Tacoma and had lost a tire and was dragging debris as he sped away from the accident scene. Eight minutes later, a citizen reported the Tacoma on his street, kicking up sparks as it hobbled along West Greenwood Avenue. The citizen observed Wilson get out of the truck and detained him until police arrived moments later. Wilson reeked of alcohol, and there was a half-drank can of beer in the center console.

Charles Schubert charged with overnight DUI at Hermitage Ave shell in downtown Nashville

28-year-old Charles Schubert crashed his vehicle at the Shell on Hermitage Ave in downtown Nashville in the overnight hours of Tuesday. Officers arrived to find him standing outside his vehicle, where he admitted to consuming “1-2 drinks” prior to driving. He refused field sobriety tests and breath and blood samples. Schubert was transported to booking and charged with DUI.

DUI: David Dybala charged after crashing on Broadway and fleeing the scene

Metro Nashville Police say 39-year-old David Dybala crashed his vehicle into another near 1100 Broadway Wednesday and fled the scene. Officer located him as he was driving away toward the interstate onramp. Officers approached the vehicle, which stopped, and Dybala existed without any prompting. He reportedly reeked of alcohol and had trouble standing. He refused field sobriety tests but was unable to follow simple instructions, such as sitting on a concrete slab.

DUI: Brittnye Denen charged after nearly colliding with MNPD patrol vehicle on I-65

Police say 35-year-old Brittnye Denen was driving on I-65 late Wednesday night when she swerved into a lane and almost collided with a marked MNPD patrol vehicle. The officer followed her for approximately one mile, and she continued to swerve and drive erratically. During a traffic stop, Denen admitted to drinking “a beer” prior to driving and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Inside the vehicle, officers located a Yeti tumbler filled with beer in the center cup holder.

Cameo Hamm charged in East Nashville DUI, says she had ‘Verizon’ to drink

Metro Nashville Police were dispatched to the intersection of Woodland Street and S. 14th St. in East Nashville, where they located 22-year-old Cameo Hamm seemingly passed out behind the wheel with the keys in the vehicle and her foot on the brake. Upon making contact, officers asked Hamm if she had anything to drink tonight, and she kept repeating, “Verizon.” Though most of her sentences were incoherent, police say she did admit to drinking alcohol prior to driving. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI.

Jarrod Allender was “crying hysterically” after 12+ liquor shots & 3 crashes in downtown Nashville

Metro Nashville Police say 27-year-old Jarrod Allender was “crying hysterically” when they located him inside his Jeep Cherokee in the Music City Center parking garage in downtown Nashville. Allender had just crashed into at least three vehicles in an attempt to exit the garage. When asked how much alcohol he had consumed, Allender stated, “12-13 shots.” He would only suck on the breathalyzer nozzle instead of blowing into it, so that test could not be completed, and a blood draw was conducted at Metro General prior to being booked.

DUI: MP&F’s Amanda Reinbold found with no pants after West End Nashville car crash

Knight Stivinder of Nashville’s “fixer” firm MP&F Strategic Communications says one of her senior leadership employees, 35-year-old Amanda Reinbold, is “… one of the very best when it comes to getting you in the news… or keeping you out of it.” That sentiment didn’t hold true to her own actions, though, after Metro Nashville Police say they found Reinbold half naked in a DUI car crash in West Nashville late Thursday night.

Asya Hangul charged with DUI after crash on I-65 overnight

22-year-old Asya Hangul called 911 just after 10 p.m. Monday night and stated she had just hit another vehicle but that vehicle and taken off from the scene. As Officers responded to another crash a half-mile before this one, it quickly became apparent that Hangul was the driver of the car that did both the crashing and the fleeing. She told police she was coming from a bar but had not been drinking. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and smelled of alcohol. She was charged with DUI.

DUI: Kevin Meyers crashes into pole downtown while arguing with his girlfriend

Metro Nashville Police received a call Saturday that a vehicle crashed downtown at 4th & Deadrick, and the involved parties were being “disorderly” in the street. Officer arrived to find 30-year-old Kevin Meyers and his girlfriend Kaitlin Pharris outside the car, which he had just driven into a utility pole. Witness Mike Moore says he watched the couple get into the car, and it quickly took off at a high rate of speed and crashed. Kaitlin told police the couple had been downtown drinking, and she told him not to drive, but he was persistent. Kevin says he was arguing with his girlfriend and “pushed the gas pedal a little too hard,” causing the crash. Police say Kevin reeked of alcohol and charged him with DUI.

DUI: Hugh Hoagland crashes into fence downtown, denies crash ever happened

Metro Nashville Police responded to an automobile crash just after 1 a.m. Sunday morning at the railroad crossing downtown at 2nd Ave near Gay St. 23-year-old Hugh Hoagland had driven his vehicle into a fence on the opposite side of the road from his lane of travel. He was found slumped over the driver’s seat and was eventually awakened by knocking on the window. He admitted he had been drinking “around here” but continued to deny he had crashed into the fence where he sat and even denied that there was ever a crash. He attempted field sobriety tests but stopped them after starting.
