Police say 46-year-old West Nashville Wingstop Store Manager Chaka-Khan Miller went outside the store and retrieved a silver pistol from her Dodge Charger a pointed it at an upset customer who had just left the store and was still in the parking lot. She reportedly told the customer she was going to “burn her” while aiming the handgun at her. The argument began because the customer was told she had to use online ordering instead of ordering at the counter. Police retrieved the gun during a search of the manager’s office inside a filing cabinet.

A woman says she went on a first date with 29-year-old Danny Sassano this weekend, and they were at her house in the bed when Sassano began making sexual advances on her, touching her all over. She told him she did not want to have sex that night and asked him to leave, at which time he reportedly became very irate and shoved her in the chest, leaving visible abrasions. Police placed Sassano into custody, but only charged him with domestic assault, as Sex Crimes Detectives stated there was not enough probable cause for sexual assault warrants. Officers also discovered he had an outstanding warrant from another incident in which a woman told him to leave her residence and he grabbed her phone from the bedside table and ran water of it so she could not call 911, then tossed her to the ground. Woman charged in face-punching assault of her boyfriend in downtown Nashville — Kally Dobak
25-year-old Kally Sue Dobak was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Sunday on a warrant charging her with the domestic assault of her boyfriend, Zain Sheikh. He says he came by their apartment to grab a toothbrush and was punched twice in the face. Officers viewed the security video and issued a warrant for Dobak’s arrest.

Caroline Minich says she was giving 24-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Alani Diaz a back rub when he confronted her and began to call her a “wh–e” and a “sl-t”, after having gone through her phone and noticed she had been communicating with other males. She retreated to the kitchen of the West Nashville apartment, and Diaz followed her, continuing to call her names. He then reportedly smacked her across the face with his open palm, sending her crashing into the oven. Police found her bleeding and bruised. Diaz fled the scene before police arrived.
Woman assaults boyfriend after seeing Snapchat notification on his phone — Taquisha Burt
Metro Police say Jacques Jamar Smith called police after his girlfriend, 26-year-old Taquisha Burt, observed a SnapChat message pop up on his phone inside their Hickory Highlands apartment. She then threw a lotion bottle at him before running toward him, attacking him, leaving scratch marks on his back. He attempted to go outside and de-escalate the situation, however, Burt was not open to that option. Video footage corroborated the assault.
Nicole Catchpole charged in domestic assault of boyfriend, Art Joyce, in downtown Nashville spat
39-year-old Nicole ‘Nicki’ Catchpole called police to assist her with getting her belongings from the Icon in the Gulch apartment of her boyfriend, Nashville investor & guitarist Art Joyce. She met officers in the lobby early Monday morning and explained the couple had been arguing since 2:30 a.m., and it had only escalated. She stated that he got in ‘close proximity to her face at one point and she struck him in the face with her cell phone. Police interviewed the victim, Arthur Joyce, and noticed visible injuries. Instead of assisting Nicki Catchpole with retrieving her belongings as she had requested, officers took her into custody and charged her with domestic assault.

Cameron Robert Stefani says he met an engaged couple, 29-year-old Michell Hill and her fiancée, Sara Pickard, at Jason Aldean’s Bar in downtown Nashville Saturday night into Sunday morning. He says the trio got into an Uber and he was returning to their hotel room with them. As he kissed Sara inside the Uber, Michelle reportedly became upset and at first lightly punches Sara, then assaulted her with a full-on punch to the face. He says the Uber driver stopped the vehicle and the two men separated the two women, and after things calmed down, they all continued to the hotel. Security at the hotel noticed Sara’s freshly bruised eye and alerted police. Officers arrived and took Michelle to jail for 12 hours, charging her with domestic assault.
Woman stands up from toilet, punches husband in face, breaks glasses, per report — Tammy Sullivan
52-year-old Tammy Sullivan is charged with domestic assault after her husband, Kevin Sullivan, says she “stood up from the toiled and punched him in the eye”, breaking his glasses. The couple was reportedly in an argument and Tammy wanted to leave with some friends after she had been drinking and Kevin attempted to take her phone when the assault occurred.
Nashville Rapper Tazzo arrested in felony domestic violence case — Ronteze Bowden
32-year-old Ronteze Bowden, better known as Nashville rapper Tezzo, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Thursday on outstanding warrants from 2020 charging him with felony aggravated assault and interference with a 911 call. The warrants allege Bowden and his then-girlfriend, Erica Lillard, were in an argument about rent money when the assaulted her with a bottle of water, then wrapped his arms around her beck from behind causing her to be unable to breathe when he realized she was calling 911.
Man pulls gun on girlfriend when phone rings at 3 a.m. — Ralph Frierson arrested
In mid-January, Octavia Evans says she was sleeping at her boyfriend’s house on Bank Street when her phone rang a 3:40 a.m. from a female friend. Her boyfriend, 29-year-old Ralph Frierson, heard her talking and reportedly came into the room demanding to know who she was speaking to, convinced it was another man. She says she explained it was one of her girlfriends, but he pulled out a black handgun and threatened to kill her if she didn’t immediately leave his home. She says as she was grabbing her things he placed the gun to her head and told her to exit via the rear door.
