Predators executive Jason Oxford found slumped over wheel after “two beers” at hockey game

48-year-old Jason Raymond Oxford was sitting at a traffic light at a Rivergate intersection and nodded off while parked in the lane. The car behind him was a Goodlettsville Police Officer, who pulled alongside Oxford to check on him after he sat through two light cycles. He observed Oxford slumped over the wheel asleep. Another officer arrived, and they blocked the vehicle from the front and back and then woke Oxford. He stated he had “two beers” at the Nashville Predators Hockey game, and officers confirmed he reeked of alcohol. On the floorboard, officers also located a pill bottle with marijuana inside. Oxford is the Director of Corporate Development for the Nashville Predators.

Joshua Soto charged with DUI for allowing an intoxicated person to drive his car

37-year-old Joshua Caine Soto is charged with DUI (per se) after allowing someone who was intoxicated to drive his vehicle late Tuesday night. Officers were dispatched to a crash on I-40W near exit 206, where Soto was a passenger in the vehicle which was registered to him. After the driver was taken into custody for DUI, Soto was also charged with DUI Per Se for knowingly allowing an intoxicated person to drive his vehicle.

Russian tourist Oleg Belonogov too drunk for Nashville

30-year-old Russian tourist Oleg Belonogov was charged with public intoxication on December 21st. According to police, Oleg refused to leave the EG&MC Restaurant and Bar on Jefferson St when asked and began to annoy other customers. When officers arrived at the bar, they offered to give Oleg a ride home or to his hotel, but he refused and told officers he would walk. Officers reported they could smell a “strong odor of alcohol” coming from his breath and that Oleg was unable to walk on his own safely, so he was taken into custody.

Drunken Santa, Koy Stewart, breaks into Wildhorse Saloon, sleeps on shuffleboard table

26-year-old Koy Stewart, while dressed in a Santa costume and extremely intoxicated, broke into the Wildhorse Saloon in the early hours of Thursday morning. Security video shows after he forced the door open, he walked upstairs and laid on a shuffleboard table. Police arrived after a public works employee, Johnny Pete, witnessed him enter the closed and locked venue. Officers arrived and sent a K-9 into the building, and Stewart was located sitting on the floor. He was charged with aggravated trespassing and public intoxication.

DUI: Chretien Jordan Ivey crashes in parking lot after taking Percocet and smoking marijuana

Police responded to the UPS parking lot on Whites Creek Pike Tuesday morning after multiple reports of a man passed out behind the wheel of a truck that had struck multiple vehicles. Officers arrived to find 24-year-old Chretien Jordan Ivey, who stated he drove there to look for a red truck when he was in a collision in the parking lot. It wasn’t immediately clear why he was searching for another vehicle. Ivey admitted to making a Percocet and smoking marijuana prior to driving and was nodding off during the interaction. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI.

DUI: Olivia Grant blows 0.218% BAC after “one beer and one shot of tequila” – injury crash

25-year-old Olivia Grant was charged with a DUI on December 19. According to police, Olivia crashed her jeep while driving home from downtown Nashville when she went the wrong way onto an interstate onramp due to being tired. Olivia admitted to police that she had consumed “one beer and one shot of tequila.” She was transported to East Precinct to complete a field sobriety test. Officers report she was unable to walk a straight line, keep her head straight, unable to keep her balance, or keep her arms at her side during the test. She consented to a breathalyzer test and was transported to Metro Nashville Jail, where she blew a .218% BAC.

Laretha Wheeler & Jamie Pfitzner sold guitars back to store they stole them from

33-year-old Laretha Wheeler & 41-year-old Jamie Pfitzner were charged with theft on December 18th after police say they were caught on video taking two guitars, valued at $1,478.99, from Guitar Center on November 1st just before closing. Video evidence shows Laretha selling both guitars back to Guitar Center the next day. Police say they were able to identify both suspects by cross-referencing Facebook profiles and screenshots of the security footage provided by Guitar Center.

Edgar Rodriguez charged with public intoxication at Nashville International Airport

Edgar Rodriguez was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with public intoxication at the Nashville International Airport. According to police, Edgar was found at the bottom level of the airport slumped over, asleep with an opened bottle of alcohol between his feet. Officers attempted to wake him multiple times, even threatening to tase him if he didn’t stand up. Once another officer arrived on the scene, he was taken into custody and transported to the Nashville Metro Jail for booking. When asked why he was at the airport, he simply stated, “drink.”

DUI: Mark Delgrosso drove drunk to help a friend who crashed

28-year-old Mark Delgrosso was arrested early Monday morning for a DUI. According to police reports, officers were responding to a motor vehicle collision at the Ellington Pkwy S exit ramp to E Trinity Ln when Mark was found at the location. He told officers he was there to check on a friend who was involved in the crash. He told the police he had just come from a Christmas party and had “one drink.” When questioned by police, he declined all sobriety testing and was transported to jail.
