DUI: Sydney Knass says she drank nothing… then one white claw…oh, and two high noons… before driving

25-year-old Sydney Knauss was the subject of a traffic stop at Edmonson Pike and Blackman Road Sunday night after an officer said she was driving recklessly. During the initial interaction, Knauss denied having consumed any alcohol that day. After performing poorly on field sobriety tests, she admitted to drinking “one white claw about thirty minutes ago.” After being placed under arrest for DUI, Knauss further admitted she had “two high noons” earlier in the afternoon. She later blew a 0.210% BAC on a breathalyzer and was taken into custody.

Alex Naymick jailed after screaming profanities into dugout at Nashville Sounds baseball game

23-year-old Alex Naymick was jailed Saturday night after causing a disruption at the Nashville Sounds baseball game. Police say he ran down and leaned into the dugout of the home team and screamed profanities at the players. As officers approached him, Naymick refused to provide his ID or answer any questions about the incident. He reeked of alcohol and caused everyone around the area to stop watching the game due to the distraction. He was taken into custody and transported to booking.

Rodrequa Spikner breaks into husband’s home, smears Mircale Whip on walls to spell out “H-O-E”

Police say 32-year-old Rodrequa Spikner destroyed her ex-husband’s bedroom by treating out a window air conditioner, covering the room with broken eggs, covering the walls with mustard, and using Miracle Whip to spell out “HOE” on his wall. Officers responded to the incident on June 30 and made contact with Johnathan Spiker. He showed the forced entry into his home shortly after he had left to run errands. She had also cut the wires to the internet. Further investigation revealed multiple items missing from the house, including a PS 5, a MacBook, and his ring doorbell. She reportedly called him later and stated, “I did it, and I’ll do it again!” The couple had been separated for eight months. A warrant was issued for her arrest, and she was booked into jail this week.

Irelander helped himself to beers at a closed airport bar, fell asleep behind the bar — Patrick Cassidy

23-year-old Patrick Cassidy says he helped himself to “three or four glasses” of a draft beer at the Arrington Wine Bar inside the Nashville International Airport late Friday night. After consuming the alcohol, the Irelander propped up on the floor behind the bar and fell asleep, where officers found him during a routine concourse sweet at 2:30 a.m. According to his ticket, he had a flight scheduled late that same evening. He was given the option to leave the airport property and return a few hours before his flight. He agreed but was unable to tell officers where he wanted to go. He would only state that he wanted to go to Ireland. He was eventually taken into custody and charged with public intoxication. 

Drunken Cookeville Veterinarian Francis Baker goes wild in Nashville during soccer game

42-year-old Francis Seth Baker, a Cookeville Veterinarian, walked out of the soccer game at Geodis Stadium Saturday night in what his wife described as a ‘very intoxicated’ state, taking the car keys with him. When his wife and the rest of the family searched for him, the vehicle was gone, and they contacted the police. Officers were able to find his location using their iCloud account, and as they drove to the location, they spotted the vehicle with Baker driving. He stopped out of the vehicle and was visibly intoxicated. After performing poorly on field sobriety tests, he was placed into a patrol car when he attempted to push himself away from arresting officers. He then lunged out of the vehicle and wrapped his legs around one of the officers. He then claimed to be hyperventilating and was evaluated by Nashville Fire medics. He spit on officers and responding medics and was transported to be medically cleared before being booked into jail. 

Kolton Leeper punches driver in face after drunken rage in downtown Nashville

21-year-old Kolton Leeper faces a multitude of criminal charges after a night of drinking in downtown Nashville. Police say Leeper, from Lebanon and the son of locally known roofing company owner Tim Leeper, was asked to leave the 5th &Broadway area due to walking in the middle of the road and having altercations with others. He then approached a vehicle, which had stopped to avoid hitting him, and punched the driver in the face after striking the car multiple times with his fists.

DUI: Noah Cooper, 20, found passed out behind wheel of running vehicle

20-year-old Noah Cooper was found unresponsive behind the wheel of his running car early Sunday morning. Police arrived to find multiple people attempting to wake Noah. After intense banging on the windows, he awakened and was safely removed from the vehicle. He admitted to drinking earlier, and reportedly reeked of alcohol. He refused all testing, stating there would be alcohol in his system.
