25-year-old Sydney Knauss was the subject of a traffic stop at Edmonson Pike and Blackman Road Sunday night after an officer said she was driving recklessly. During the initial interaction, Knauss denied having consumed any alcohol that day. After performing poorly on field sobriety tests, she admitted to drinking “one white claw about thirty minutes ago.” After being placed under arrest for DUI, Knauss further admitted she had “two high noons” earlier in the afternoon. She later blew a 0.210% BAC on a breathalyzer and was taken into custody.
