31-year-old Blake Bearden drove into the pool area and off a rock wall inside a multi-million dollar estate on Sewanee Road late Wednesday night. Officers arrived to find Bearden asleep in the front seat of his truck with a half-empty beer can in the cup holder and five other empty beer cans in the floorboard. He stated he had come “from Nashville” when he crashed into the South Nashville estate owned by Douglas Kitchen. He admitted to having “too much” to drink and was also the subject of several earlier calls about his erratic driving on Hillsboro Pike. He refused all sobriety testing and was taken into custody.
