This story is brought to you by Scoop: Nashville as part of the #bspotter / #VisitMusicCity series which features tourist and downtown-related arrests in Music City.
51-year-old Arizona tourist Hope Trainor was jailed at Nashville’s 4th of July celebration after she pulled the mask off the face of another attendee, Bryan Riley. Riley flagged down police to let them know he punched her in the face after she ripped off his mask. She admitted to ripping the mask from his face, stating she “wanted to see who was under the mask.” As she was being detained, she pulled away from officers and was extremely intoxicated. Due to her general behavior and actions, she was taken into custody and faces multiple charges.
Hope Trainor of E Redfield Drive in Scottsdale, AZ, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on July 4th, charged with public intoxication, assault, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $3,100, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave her pre-trial release from their facility.
