18-year-old Damian Davis punches mother for unplugging internet

18-year-old Damian Davis had a domestic altercation with his mother, Sandreen Julius, at their Cambridge at Hickory Hollow apartment on Bell Road on February 8th. When officers arrived, Julius advised them that she and Davis argued over her disconnecting the internet. Then, Davis got up from the couch after Julius unplugged the ethernet cable a second time and punched her in the head. Jaheim Julius, who was in the room at the time of the incident, said he observed Davis walk into the room and strike her before intervening, which was when Davis left. Davis was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault on February 14th.

Andre Satterlund brutally assaults girlfriend on Valentine’s Day, tells police they had been “Having problems”

30-year-old Andre Satterlund was jailed on February 14th after reports of him assaulting a woman on 6th Avenue and Mulberry Street. Two separate calls were placed stating that a male and female were outside of a vehicle, physically fighting under a nearby bridge. Both complainants noted that the female was bleeding from her face. The callers gave officers the license plate number of a tan Lincoln sedan. The officers didn’t find the vehicle under the bridge, but it was spotted near Carrol Street and 5th Avenue South. When the vehicle driver noticed the officers, they abruptly drove away. Officers searched the area and located the vehicle in a parking lot at 9th Avenue South and Gleaves Street. There was blood on the hood and passenger door, along with strands of the woman’s hair. Officers then identified Satterlund as the driver and asked him to step out of the vehicle. Santia Zamora was in the passenger’s seat, with extreme swelling to her jaw and eyes. Her nose was bleeding, and her arms were scraped. Officers observed blood everywhere on the passenger’s side of the vehicle and immediately called for an ambulance. Both parties stated that they were in a relationship, and Zamora had gotten into a fight with strangers at Hustler Strip Club. Satterlund initially stated that his girlfriend had gotten into a fight with another woman inside the club. Later, he changed his story to his girlfriend getting into a fight with three women outside the club. Satterlund admitted that he and Zamora had been “having problems” all day. Officers then went to Hustler Strip Club, where two witnesses stated they saw Satterlund kicking and kneeing his girlfriend in the face outside of the club. Officers located an area where there were several items thrown from inside Satterlund’s vehicle and blood on the ground. Officers noticed Satterlund had blood on his pants, and his knuckles were swollen. Zamora was transported to Vanderbilt Hospital for her injuries. While in the ambulance, Zamora admitted that Satterlund punched her, kicked her, and threw her into the side of the car. The severity of Zamora’s injuries is unknown, pending a CT scan. During the search of the vehicle, officers located an open alcoholic beverage within reach of the driver’s side. Officers also learned that Satterlund did not have a valid driver’s license. Zamora did not wish to prosecute. Satterlund was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault, open container violation, and driving without a license on February 14th.

Zachary Bonvallet drunkenly assaults ex-girlfriend at New Year’s Party, tells her “I will end you”

29-year-old Zachary Bonvallet had a domestic altercation with his ex-girlfriend, Victoria Gallagher, at his house on 18th Avenue North in the early hours of January 1st. Gallagher reported that she and Bonvallet planned to go to the bicentennial celebration after their New Year’s Eve party but canceled because he was drunk and his friends were still playing games at their party. Then, Gallagher said, around 2:30 a.m., Bonvallet became upset and argumentative toward her, telling her, “I will end you,” so she began to record the incident. When Bonvallet realized Gallagher was recording him, he tried to snatch her phone from her hands. Gallagher ran to Bonvallet’s guest room, attempting to shut the door behind her when Bonvallet shoved it aggressively, causing it to hit her. Gallagher said she then fell from the impact and hit her face on the door handle. When Gallagher fell, Bonvallet grabbed her phone and ran to his bedroom. When Gallagher got up and tried retrieving her phone, Bonvallet pushed her against the bookshelf. Gallagher managed to retrieve her phone and locked herself in his bathroom until he calmed down. Once Bonvallet calmed down, he allowed her to gather her belongings to leave. Gallagher said she did not wish to prosecute, insisting that she only wanted to make a report. Bonvallet was taken into custody for domestic assault on February 12th.

Asia Price punches ex-girlfriend in face over Snapchat post

24-year-old Asia Price was jailed on February 14th for assaulting her live-in ex-girlfriend, Zynese Brinkley. Brinkley told officers that she and Price had begun arguing over a Snapchat post. Price took Brinkley’s phone and refused to return it, holding it over her head. When Brinkley tried to get her phone back, Price punched her in the face. Brinkley stated that her brother came over and separated them, which is when Price smashed Brinkley’s phone on the counter. Price then took Brinkley’s glasses and broke them in half. Price admitted to breaking the phone and the glasses. Asia Price was taken into custody for vandalism and domestic assault on February 14th.

Alexander Caleb Lafeve drunkenly assaults husband after drinking bottle of alcohol

22-year-old Alexander Caleb Lafeve was jailed early February 13th for assaulting his husband at their home on Alta Loma Road. William Dickerson told police that Alexander had drank a whole bottle of alcohol within the last couple of hours and busted through his bedroom door, yelling at him. Alexander then grabbed Dickerson by his arm, pulling and screaming at him. Dickerson got away from Lafeve, called 911, and waited outside the residence for police. Dickerson was afraid that Lafeve would hurt him, as this wasn’t the first incident of assault but only the first time he had reported it.

Justin Simon strangles girlfriend over cheating accusations, tells her “You’re going to sleep you f*cking wh*re!”

37-year-old Justin Everett Simon had a domestic incident with his girlfriend, Bria Lewis, at their apartment at The Edison at Riverwood on Dodson Chapel Road in the early hours of February 11th. Officers arrived and observed Lewis with multiple injuries to her face, next to her vehicle when she stated an unknown male attacked her. Lewis was transported to the hospital for medical treatment. Once Lewis was at the hospital, officers received another call for service regarding Lewis not telling the whole truth. Lewis advised that her current boyfriend, Simon, was the one who assaulted her. Lewis told officers that when she and Simon returned home from a hookah bar, he started accusing her of cheating on him. Lewis said when they got to the apartment complex, he forced her out of the vehicle, causing her to fall to the ground. Simon continued to yell at her about the alleged infidelity while they waited for the elevator. When they got inside their apartment, the argument continued when he began to call her racial slurs, berating her. Simon then pushed her to the ground and stepped on her stomach. Lewis told him that she was not cheating on him, and Simon became upset, shoving her face onto the floor and punching her several times. Simon continued his assault by placing her in a chokehold to strangle her. While doing so, Simon told her, “You’re going to sleep you f*cking wh*re!” Lewis said this was when she grabbed his genitals, scratched, and kicked him in the throat, causing him to flee the scene. Lewis’ left eye was swollen shut, and her face was bruised with minor cuts. Simon was taken into custody for domestic assault, strangulation, and harassment threats.

Keiangelo Haddock assaults father during altercation with girlfriend

27-year-old Keiangelo Lamonte Haddock had a domestic altercation with his father, Keith Haddock, at their home on December 25th, 2022. Keith told officers that Keiangelo initiated an argument with his girlfriend, Mikayla Byles and that Keiangelo started to become aggressive toward her. Keith then intervened when he noticed Keiangelo’s aggression towards Mikayla. A scuffle ensued between Keith and Keiangelo, where Keith produced a knife in self-defense, causing Keiangelo to disengage. Keiangelo left before the officers arrived. Officers interviewed Byles separately, who corroborated Keith’s statement, advising that her boyfriend was the primary aggressor. Keiangelo Lamonte Haddock was taken into custody for domestic assault on February 10th.

Jayilan Burton punches wife multiple times in face during argument

23-year-old Jayilan Burton had a domestic altercation with his wife, Adajiah Burton, at their shared apartment on Brooksboro Terrace on the night of February 10th. Mrs. Burton spoke to the police when they arrived, advising them she and Jayilan had argued. Mrs. Burton said Jayilan punched her in the face repeatedly during the argument. When questioned by police, Mr. Burton refused to talk about the incident. Officers observed swelling to the left side of her face and a laceration on her lip. Officers deemed Jayilan as the primary aggressor, and he was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Alexandra Peterson drunkenly punches girlfriend during altercation on Broadway

24-year-old Alexandra Peterson had an altercation with her girlfriend, Alexis Jean Daniel, on Broadway near Representative John Lewis Way in the early morning of February 10th. Peterson was intoxicated and crying when she flagged officers down. Peterson told them she could not get to her hotel and had met someone downtown who left her there. She said she knew a friend named “Lexi,” who stayed in Nashville, but when officers tried to call “Lexi,” there was no answer. So, officers agreed to give Peterson a ride to her hotel in the Hermitage area. While they drove westbound on Broadway, Peterson told officers she saw “Lexi,” so they stopped and approached a male and a female, later identified as Alexis Jean Daniel and an unknown male. Officers asked the pair if they were looking for Peterson, and they explained that she was probably looking for them. Officers let Peterson out of the patrol car, and she began crying hysterically as Daniel advised that she thought Peterson left with her mom. Based on Peterson and Daniels’ behavior towards each other, officers separated both parties to speak with them. Peterson said that she and Daniel argued, so she tried to walk away, but Daniel grabbed her shoulders. Peterson admitted to punching Daniel in the face because of this. Daniel said they had no physical altercation but confirmed the verbal argument. Officers noticed redness to the left side of Daniel’s face, consistent with being punched. Daniel explained that Peterson had hit her a couple of days prior in a separate altercation. Peterson was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Deidre Kyzer assaults sister for entering her room, throwing her belongings

29-year-old Deidre Kyzer had a domestic altercation with her sister, Kathryn Kyzer, at their family home on Gordon Lane in the early hours of February 8th. When the officers arrived, they spoke with Kathryn, who advised them that her sister had been throwing away items belonging to their parents and was arguing with them about it. Then, Kathryn started throwing Deidre’s items in the hallway, trying to get her to understand what she was doing to her parents. This caused Deidre to push Kathryn in the chest and into the wall. Kathryn said that she pushed Deidre back to get away from her. Their parents, who witnessed the incident, corroborated Kathryn’s statement. Deidre stated she was not trying to put her hands on Kathryn and was trying to get her to stop touching her things and entering her room. Deidre Kyzer was taken into custody for domestic assault.
