Canadian Football Player Ryan Bomben faces felony for bringing drugs into Nashville jail after drunken arrest

Metro Nashville Police found 34-year-old Canadian Professional Football Player Ryan Bomben banging his head against a local business in downtown Nashville, and when officers approached him he reeked of alcohol and had difficulty standing on his own. Despite multiple attempts to arrange for him to leave the area safely, there was no one to care for him and he had no idea where he was staying. He was transported to booking, where they located marijuana inside his jacket pocket once inside the facility. Bomben was charged with public intoxication and felony introducing drugs into a penal institution.

Texas Tourist found with “white powdery substance” after Public Intox arrest — Braquece Smith

25-year-old Braquece Smith, from Texas, now faces a felony charge in Nashville after police initially charged him with public intoxication after he was extremely intoxicated and had urinated near 4th & Broadway. Once at booking, deputies found a white powdery substance, suspected to be drugs, on him. Smith was additionally charged with bringing contraband into a jail, which is a felony in Tennessee.

Wife assaults husband & destroys his office after she’s denied drugs — Lillian Stout-Cox arrested

Police say 28-year-old Lillian Stout-Cox was at Top Golf with her husband, Paul Cox, who owns a Goodlettsville car lot. She reportedly became upset after he would not hire her brother and caused such a scene that Paul took a rideshare back to the car lot. By the time he arrived, Lillian was already there waiting for him. Security video shows another argument occurred, this time after she demanded some of his prescribed medication (Klonopin) as she searched the office for them. When she realized they were in his possession she began destroying computer monitors and furniture throughout the office. Stout-Cox is charged with domestic assault and vandalism and is free on a $2,000 bond.

Bellevue man rips dress off girlfriend, threatens to kill her, on his birthday — Byron Baisy

Byron Baisy was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on Tuesday, his 35th birthday, after he and his girlfriend, Tiffany Mayfield, had reportedly argued all morning long. His girlfriend says the argument escalated when it wasn’t going his way, and he pushed her onto the bed, held her down, ripped off her dress, and treated to kill her. Police documented injuries on the victim when they responded to the Bellevue residence and took Daisy into custody.

After Baisy was in custody, officers asked if he had anything on him they should be aware of, and he disclosed there was “weed” in his pocket. Officers retrieved 27.3 grams of marijuana. Byron Baisy is charged with domestic assault with bodily injury and drug possession. He is free on a $1,000 bond.

Man charged with threatening to stab people with a syringe at Broadway convenience store — Tyler Rasband

29-year-old Tyler Rasband was found at a Broadway convenience store in downtown Nashville wielding a syringe, threatening to stab people with it. An employee of the location attempted to get him to put the syringe away and leave the property, but police eventually had to be called to take him into custody. He is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and jailed in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
