The Traffic Division was conducting the Street Racer Initiative on August 12th, and around 8pm at Corporate Place, 150 vehicles and at least 400 individuals were observed conducting illegal activities that occasionally resulted in a pedestrian being struck or damage to the parking lot. Vehicles began to flee before the 19-year-old Adriel Lopez was flagged down and commanded to shut his 2012 white Infiniti G37 off. Officers observed the license plate of the vehicle before Lopez fled. A warrant was issued for his arrest, and he was booked on that warrant this week.

Kristen Hall of Studio Goddess charged with serving alcohol without a license to bachelorettes
On August 24th, Agents of the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission went into Studio Goddess, known as Nashville’s Best Bachelorette Party Host, for the sips & selfie tour. After reserving a spot for the selfie tour, 37-year-old Kristen Hall poured the Agents a can of Bev Rose into a disco ball, serving it to be consumed. Hall does not have a liquor license and was issued a state citation. She was booked on that citation this week.
Lashaelynn Smith charged after TSU student brawl at pool party
On September 4th, TSU student Demyla Wood was at Eatons Creek, where she said she was assaulted by two other TSU students, 19-year-old Lashaelynn Smith and Raven Crain. Wood stated that Crain sprayed her with a water gun and asked her not to do so anymore. A witness mentions time passing before Crain confronted Wood, asking her, “You want to fight?” Ms. Wood replied ”no” before being struck in the head by Crain. A recorded interview shows Ms. Wood and two other witnesses stating Smith instantly joined Crain by striking Wood. It was reported that once the assault ended, all parties separated but stayed present before a second assault was initiated by Crain prior to Wood’s departure, rushing, striking, and pulling her hair, causing multiple bodily injuries to Ms. Wood.

Stephen Bittman jailed for public intoxication in Nashville
43-year-old Stephen Bittman walked up to the police and uttered random statements to them on the evening of September 28th in downtown Nashville. Police reported him having visible signs of intoxication and attempted to assist him to his hotel or home. He was unable to tell them the address or contact someone he knew. He was then arrested for public intoxication as he was unable to care for himself in public.
Laura Kelsey Bartlette — too drunk to fly at Nashville International Airport
32-year-old Laura Kelsey Bartlette could not find her luggage at the Nashville International Airport Thursday afternoon. Nashville Airport Police Officer Smith approached after being called for an intoxicated individual and found Laura, whose flight was rescheduled to the next day. Police say she reeked of alcohol, and she could not answer their questions about where she lived, her date of birth, or where she was going. Nashville Airport Police Officer Smith took Laura into custody due to her level of intoxication.
Michael Antosh asks which jail he would go to, says “that sounds nice,” and agrees to go
36-year-old musician Michael Antosh was visibly intoxicated and almost fell over while walking past officers on Broadway on September 28th. The officers assisted Michael into a taxi but were later flagged down for the taxi driver arguing with Michael while he stood on the road. They told him he would go to jail if he did not get into the cab. Michael asked which jail they were talking about, and the officers said county jail. He said, “That sounds nice.” He was arrested to ensure he had somewhere safe to stay.
Jonathon Lemay jailed after drunken debacle at Rusty Nail Bar
41-year-old Jonathon Lemay fell on stage at the Rusty Nail Bar, breaking sound equipment before security asked him to leave, but he refused. He was escorted out and still refused to leave the property. Police arrived and spoke to Jonathan, who had visible signs of intoxication. They attempted to get him to call a cab, but he was too intoxicated to understand how to work his phone, so he was arrested for public intoxication.
Austin Blake Richards threatens police, slides his butt across their patrol car
28-year-old Austin Blake Richards was stumbling, dancing in front of pedestrians, and yelling, causing an annoyance early Sunday morning in downtown Nashville. He motioned “come here” to an officer outside Jason Aldean’s bar on Broadway, and officers obliged. When they arrived, Austin told the officers, “F*/k you,” and traveled down Broadway. He slid on his butt across a police patrol vehicle parked on 3rd and Broadway while walking away. He was arrested due to his level of intoxication. While being transported to the jail, he told the officers that he would harm the two officers and their families when he got out. Also, He said that they should watch out for him and said, “I’ll drop you,” as well as other threats along those lines. The treats continued while he was being booked.
Kipp Shoecraft — too drunk for downtown Nashville
39-year-old Kipp Shoecraft was jailed after police responded to reports of a man passed out in a taxi. Police observed Shoecraft bloody and bruised and requested the fire department to provide medical care, but he refused all assistance. He was incoherent and didn’t have a clear understanding of what was going on. Police also observed an unmistakable odor of alcohol coming from his breath, and he couldn’t keep his balance. Shoecraft still had not paid his taxi and was refusing to do so. He didn’t know which hotel he was staying at and was therefore deemed a danger to himself and taken into custody.
