35-year-old Bryan Wingate was kicked out of Nashville’s largest gay nightclub, Play Dance Bar, in the early hours of Sunday morning. He was advised to leave and not return, but he remained on the property. Metro Nashville Police arrived to find Wingate unable to walk and with slurred speech. He told officers, “I can’t go back home to her,” then cursed at the officers, calling them “bitch, and “fucker.” He was yelling and screaming and attempting to fight bar staff. He was transported to booking. It is known if he went back to ‘her’ after being released from jail.

Solider Connor Liebergen booted from Play Dance Bar, fights to get back inside
22-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Connor James Liebergen was kicked out of Play Dance Bar on Church Street in Nashville in the early hours of Sunday morning. Security advised that after they escorted him outside of Nashville’s largest gay dance bar, Liebergen attempted to run back inside and began swinging at members of the security staff. He was detained in cuffs until Metro Nashville Police arrived and transported him to booking.
DUI: Darius Adams crashes after leaving Play Dance Bar Sunday Night, blows 0.136% BAC
Police say 21-year-old Darius Adams crashed a black Cadillac Escalade just after 4 a.m. Monday near Charlotte Pike and River Road. Adams was found asleep in the driver’s seat of the vehicle, which was blocking a lane of travel, and the engine was running. An open can of Cayman Jack was in the center console, and Darius Adams told officers he had come from Play Dance Bar, where he drank a shot of fireball and other shots that men bought for him. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and blew a 0.136% BAC on a breathalyzer.
Mikhail Petrov charged with public intoxication at Play Dance Bar after altercation
Metro Nashville Police responded to an assault call on Friday night at Play Dance Bar to find 36-year-old Mikhail Petrov standing outside the club acting erratic and reeking of alcohol. Before police arrived, security at Nashville’s most prominent gay club detained Petrov due to a physical altercation with staff. Petrov was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.
Zyshonn Burleson charged in assault of bouncer at Play Dance Bar in Nashville
22-year-old Zyshonn Burleson is charged with the assault of a bouncer at Play Dance Bar on Church Street in Nashville who refused to let him enter a closed portion of the venue. Jelani Kimber says as the club was closing early Saturday morning, parts of the club were blocked off to move people to the front of the club. Kimber was holding his arm out to let patrons know they could not enter this particular area when Burleson approached and began to call him names and used his hand to push the bouncer in the face, causing him to fall backward. Kimber then detained Burleson until police arrived.
Drama queen pulls fire alarm at Play Dance Bar to get friend’s attention — Quenton Paul McSparren arrested
27-year-old Quenton Paul McSparren was jailed this weekend and now the felony charge of filing a false report after admitting to pulling a fire alarm in the middle of Play Dance Bar just before 1 a.m. Sunday, sending the crowded gay nightclub into a frenzy. McSparren says he was trying to signal for his friend to come back to the dance floor.
Man charged with DUI after leaving Play Dance Bar and crashing car — Bricen Bunt arrested
23-year-old Bricen Bunt told police he had just left Play Dance Bar, where he had drank a tequila shot, a Long Island Tea, and a vodka/Redbull, when he crashed his car into another vehicle on I-24 while driving to Murfreesboro in the early hours of Saturday morning. After performing poorly on field sobriety tests, Bunt blew a 0.134 % BAC on a breathalyzer. He is free on pre-trial release.

While responding to a different call, officers discovered 21-year-old Kayla Knox stepping out of her wrecked vehicle in the median of I-40. She told officers she had just left Play Dance Bar where she drank shots and was trying to get home to Clarksville. She refused to remove her heels and performed field sobriety tests wearing them. She was charged with DUI.
