42-year-old Anthony Conard is charged with injuring his wife of 22 years with a picture frame after she “made hurtful comments” directed at him after a night of drinking on Broadway in Downtown Nashville.
Late Wednesday night the couple had been drinking at bars on Broadway before returning to their local accommodations while in town. As they were getting ready for bed they became involved in a verbal altercation at which time the wife, Angella Conard reportedly “made hurtful comments” directed at her husband, and in response he admitted to picking up a picture frame and throwing it at his wife,s striking her face above her left eyelid, leaving a visible laceration.
Anthony Conard was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail at 9:30 p.m. on 07/28, charged with domestic assault with bodily injury. He is free on a $1,000 bond.
