45-year-old Michael Davidson, who is visiting from Mason, OH, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail early Wednesday after he was found riding the elevator at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Nashville Downtown/The Gulch while exposing his genitals to other guests and employees for the purpose of sexual gratification, according to police. Davidson is charged with indecent exposure and public intoxication and is free on pre-trial release.

| Police responded to 901 Division Street (Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Nashville Downtown/The Gulch) for a report of an intoxicated person exposing themselves. Upon arrival, police were met by employees and the victim who stated that the defendant was riding the establishment’s elevator and “flashing” various residents including the victim.
Police located the defendant sleeping on the 5th floor, in the hallway, of the establishment. It should be noted his room was located on the 4th floor. Upon making contact with the defendant, he showed obvious signs of intoxication. To include slurred speech and an odor of alcoholic beverage coming from his person. It was also observed that he was unsteady on his feet and was unable to stand without assistance. Due to the obvious signs of intoxication and being located in a public place of the establishment, he is being charged with public intoxication. Due to the defendant intentionally exposing his genitals to others in a public place with the intent of sexual gratification, he is also charged with indecent exposure. It should be noted that due to his intoxicated state it would a danger to himself if left on his own. |
