Police say 23-year-old Hope Alexander Jenkins was involved in an automobile crash just before midnight on August 31st on Springfield Highway. When officers arrived, they immediately noticed an open bottle of vodka on the floorboard of the vehicle and smelled a strong odor of alcohol coming from Jenkins. Jenkins, who admitted to drinking”two shots” of liquor before driving, performed poorly on field sobriety tests and later consented to a blood draw. She also has a prior DUI conviction in 2018, along with a suspended license.
Hope Alexander Jenkins of Maxon Ave in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on August 31st, charged with driving under the influence 2nd offense, driving on a revoked license, and having an open container. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $6,000, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave her pre-trial release from
