30-year-old Kevon Dias was jailed Tuesday for assaulting his roommate on Hickory Highlands Drive after an argument regarding compensation for his roommate using his DoorDash account to complete deliveries. Lynton Dyce told police that he and Dias had an agreement that he would use Dias’ Dasher account to earn money by making deliveries and expected to be compensated directly for his services. Dyce said that he had completed several deliveries and had approached Dias requesting compensation for the work he had done, but Dias refused to pay him, and an argument ensued. Frustrated by not being paid, Dyce told Dias that he wasn’t welcome around the apartment and could no longer use his vehicle. Later that day, Dyce was sitting in his car with Dias parked outside the apartment. When Dyce left the parking lot to go back inside, Dias slashed his tires.
