38-year-old Delandria Walton was booked Sunday afternoon after officers received multiple reports of her trespassing at businesses near downtown Nashville. The first call was reported around 6:20 a.m. from 7-Eleven, stating that Ms. Walton was “putting items inside of her pockets and attempting to open customer’s car doors.” When officers arrived, they asked Ms. Walton to leave, and she complied. Officers received a call about two hours later stating that Ms. Walton was at The Dutch restaurant lying in the lobby, refusing to leave the property. Officers arrived and asked her to leave, and she again complied. Officers received yet another call about two hours after the last incident, stating that Ms. Walton was now at Kittenish, a clothing store on 11th Avenue, yelling and arguing with customers. When officers arrived on the scene, they placed Ms. Walton into custody due to the likelihood that she would continue to disturb other nearby businesses.
