53-year-old Melinda Lee Vallem was involved in a car accident at Call Hill Road on November 22nd. Keegan Patrick Thayer called officers and advised them that Vallem had driven into his parked vehicle. When he went outside to check on Vallem, she was visibly intoxicated. Vallem stated that she had one unknown alcoholic beverage and an Ambien. She also believed that the accident happened on Bell Road, which is nowhere near the residential area she was in. Vallem was taken into custody for driving under the influence.
Melinda Vallem of Saxony Lake Dr in Antioch, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on November 23rd, charged with driving under the influence. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $2,000, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave her pre-trial release from their facility.
