Fugitive Cheyenne Paige found with drugs in his prison pocket at Nashville Jail

29-year-old Cheyenne Paige was found to be trespassing inside the laundry room at The Village at Crestview Apartments in Madison Wednesday morning. When officers checked his identity to charge him with criminal trespassing, they realized he was a wanted fugitive out of Arkansas. Nothing was found on him during a search, however, once he was at booking, deputies at the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office located a quantity of marijuana, a folded dollar bill containing an unknown substance, and two now broken blue pills inside the rear body cavity of Cheyenne Paige. It was unclear how long he had just been walking around with the bounty in his booty.

Michelle Branch arrested after slapping Patrick Carney in face during argument over marriage

Nashville Police responded to a domestic disturbance on Chickering Lane in the early morning hours of August 11th to find 39-year-old Michelle Branch, who stated she argued with her husband, Patrick Carney, over their marriage. Branch admitted to slapping Carney in the face, which coincided with Carney’s account of the evening. Branch was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.

Jerald Sanford: “Of course I’m drunk, I just got off work!”

Metro Nashville Police Officers working the Entertainment District Initiative in downtown Nashville Sunday were flagged down by staff at Honky Tonk Central and observed 31-year-old ‘Jerald Marquese Sanford to be involved in a fight at the location. He was extremely sweaty, disorderly, and reeked of alcohol, according to officers. After he was placed into custody, Sanford stated: “of course I’m drunk, I just got off work!”

Imani Fleming charged in harassment of Eirneshia Carter; challenged her to fight via text

Eirneshia Carter went before a night court magistrate and swore out an affidavit of harassment against 24-year-old Imani Fleming on March 16th. She stated that she repeatedly told Fleming not to contact her, and twice within six weeks, she texted her and called her another two times. One of those texts challenged Carter to a fight. Fleming was booked on the outstanding warrant on Tuesday and is charged with harassment/causing emotional distress.

Elijah Leavens charged after “fit of rage” leaves bathroom door vandalized

Matthew Stephens says one of his roommates, 32-year-old Elijah Leavens, came “storming out of his room in a fit of rage” on June 20th as Matthew was confronting another roommate about finding moldy food in the kitchen as he returned from an out-of-town trip. Elijah was reportedly not involved in the conversation yet began an argument. He then punched a hole in the shared bathroom door. A warrant for vandalism was issued for his arrest, which he was booked on this week.

DUI: Luxury Realtor Jodie Barringer overdoses after taking ‘pill from a friend’ and driving; revived by NFD

57-year-old Josephine ‘Jodie’ Barringer was booked this week on an outstanding citation from May charging her with DUI. Nashville Fire says they were the first to arrive at the scene on May 4th to find Barringer unconscious in the driver’s seat of her Volvo XC60, which had crashed on Woodmont Blvd, striking a fire hydrant and a utility pole. First responders administered 4mg of NARCAN, and she regained consciousness while being loaded into the ambulance. She admitted to taking a pill that a friend gave her prior to driving but denied knowing what it was. Officers say she was sweating profusely and was very disheveled in her appearance. She was transported to the hospital and given a state citation in lieu of arrest.

Tourist Marcel Gonzalez knees MNPD Officer in groin when attempting to adjust his cuffs after arrest

Metro Nashville Police responded to an intoxicated trespasser at the JW Marriott Hotel Friday in downtown Nashville. Hotel staff identified a person in the valley lane, 33-year-old Marcel Gonzalez, as the man who refused to leave and was “frothing at the mouth.” Officers attempted to locate a friend or relative to help him get to his destination or to retrieve him but were unable to contact anyone despite multiple attempts. He was then deemed to be a danger to himself and taken into custody. He refused to be cuffed and actively resisted when officers were cuffing him. Once at the downtown detention center inside the Sally port, Gonzalez complained his cuffs were hurting him due to the tightness. Officers approached him and attempted to loosen his cuffs for his satisfaction, at which point he kneed Officer James Hill in the groin.

Drunk National Guard Recruiter Taylor Stoeckman threatens to kill Nashville Police Officer — Pretrial Release

28-year-old Former Marine turned National Guard Recruiter Taylor Stoeckman was jailed late Monday night after security at Nashville Underground on Broadway in downtown Nashville had to take him to the ground and hold him there until police arrived. Stoeckman was reportedly extremely intoxicated, which resulted in him being denied entry to the venue. Despite his continued shouting and unruly behavior, and complaints of not being able to see, he refused medical treatment. Officers then attempted to call his friends to come and get him, but Stoeckman was unable to unlock his phone. Officers asked him to sit down while they attempted other methods to contact his friends, but he became even more unruly. He was then advised he was being taken into custody, at which time he assumed a fighting stance and used his body to prevent from being placed into the patrol car. He then threatened to strangle the arrested officer to death, and once at booking, he continued to resist going into the building.

Musician Trey Calloway charged with DUI in Nashville; asks police to stop embarrassing him

Metro Nashville Police & fire responded to I-40 East near White Bridge Pike in the early hours of Monday morning and pulled 30-year-old Nashville Musician Franklin “Trey” Calloway out of his Ford F-150, which he crashed. Multiple Nashville Firefighters say Calloway told them he had been drinking, and police say he reeked of alcohol upon contact. As he tried to stand on his own, officers had to catch him several times as he attempted to topple over. He motioned he “wasn’t sure” when asked how much alcohol he had consumed, and after the first two field sobriety tests, Calloway stated, “I know I’ve failed the tests already; why are you embarrassing me?” and refused all other tests.
