54-year-old James Winters and his girlfriend, Linda Mcgonigle, were staying at the Courtyard by Marriott in downtown Nashville this weekend when she ended their relationship late Friday night. She says James became upset and pushed her against a wall, holding her neck against the wall with his hands. Officers arrived and documented marks on the victim’s neck and took Winters into custody, charging him with domestic assault.

James R. Winters of Marathon Drive in Mantua, NJ, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on November 12th, charged with domestic assault with bodily injury. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $2,500.
