Police say 38-year-old Twanta Lashea Chase drove a black sedan to the InTown Suites Extended Stay Hotel in Madison on November 28th and pulled up to where Takoria Primm and her boyfriend were standing outside. She exited her vehicle with a handgun and stated, “You didn’t think I was gonna come?” she then approached Takoria Primm while waving the gun and threatened to kill her, approached the woman’s boyfriend, then reportedly fired several shots. Chase fled the scene before officers arrived, and a felony warrant was issued for her arrest. Officers confirmed the events via hotel security video. She was booked on the outstanding warrant this week.

DUI: Ashley Asauskas crashes car on her own street, walks home to call the police
25-year-old Ashley Asauskas crashed her vehicle just 200 yards from her home in the early hours of Monday morning. Shen then exited the wrecked car and walked to her home just down the street. A witness called 911, as did Ashley when she got home. She initially wanted to be checked out by EMS but later signed a refusal. She stated she had consumed alcohol prior to driving and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. She later blew a 0.163% BAC on a breathalyzer and was charged with DUI.
DUI: Shianne Mccandless blows 0.21% BAC after leaving Rusty Nail Bar
25-year-old Shianne Mccandless crashed her Nissan Armada into a rock wall near Bell Rd & Stewarts Ferry Pike before daylight Sunday morning. She appeared obviously intoxicated and stated she had come from the Rusty Nail bar, where she said she drank two doubles of tequila. Officers say she showed indicators of “extreme intoxication” on field sobriety tests and admitted she should not have been driving. She later blew a 0.21% BAC on a breathalyzer.
Tourist Christopher Taylor kicked out of Hustler Strip Club in Nashville
35-year-old Wisconsin tourist Christopher Taylor was kicked out of Larry Flynt’s Hustler strip club in downtown Nashville in the early hours of Monday morning for reportedly inappropriately touching a dancer. He refused to leave the property despite multiple demands from the management of the establishment. Metro Nashville Police arrived at the location, and he continued to refuse to leave the strip club. He was transported to booking and charged with criminal trespass. Taylor was married to Kelsey Jones in October of 2022.
Justin Mummel charged with pulling gun on ex-wife during custody exchange
On Christmas day, 30-year-old Justin Ray Mummel came to his ex-wife’s Hermitage apartment complex to drop off his child with his mother, Valery Mummel. During the exchange, Justin reportedly became irate, demanding to know the location of his ex-wife’s new boyfriend. As he got into his Chevy Silverado to leave, he went down the street and came back, yelling and screaming at Valery from his vehicle. Valery and a witness, Mrs. Dennie, report he then pulled a handgun and pointed it at them before driving away.
Aaliyah Cooke found with handgun after DUI crash on interstate
44-year-old Aaliyah Cooke crashed her vehicle on I-65 on January 7 but stated she was not injured when officers arrived at the scene. As she spoke with first responders, they reported smelling alcohol coming from her breath. She admitted she had just come from a bar and was on her way home when she crashed. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and had a handgun on her at the time of her arrest.
Terika Jones charged with DUI in Hotel Preston parking lot
38-year-old Terika Jones drove her Chevy Impala through the parking lot at Hotel Preston at 3:25 a.m. Saturday, running over multiple curbs and crashing into a parked vehicle. After the crash, she exited the car and walked away as if nothing had happened. Hotel staff alerted police, who confirmed the drunken antics from a security video. She was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence.
DUI: David Galloway crashes into gate at airport parking lot at 3 a.m.
23-year-old David Lloyd Galloway says he had “two to three” drinks mixed with Whisky about an hour before crashing his black SUV into the gate of the cell phone parking lot at the Nashville International Airport just before 3 a.m. Saturday. Officers arrived to find the front end of his SUV lodged under the arm of the gate. Galloway performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI.
Ricardo Greene wakes wife up to argue, slaps her in face, per report
47-year-old Ricardo Greene is charged with the domestic assault of his wife, Shaniqua Greene. As she was in bed sleeping for the night on January 7th, she says he woke her up to accuse her of talking to another man. She got up from the bed, and he followed her to the bathroom, slapping her in the face during the argument. A minor child heard the argument and the slap to the face and forced his way into the bedroom to see Ricardo pushing Shaniqua.
DUI: Michael Powers says he snorted heroin prior to crash in North Nashville
45-year-old Michael Powers told police he used heroin prior to crashing his Hyundai Elantra in North Nashville on January 6. Witnesses say he was driving recklessly and hit two other vehicles before hitting a red truck and flipping his vehicle, eventually stopping while facing south in the northbound lanes of Clarksville Pike. He was speaking incoherently and had constricted pupils, and nodded off while speaking to the police. Heroin and a snort straw were located inside the vehicle.
